This video really helped me out when our window went down but not up as we were about to enter a rain storm on a road trip. Got the panel off really quickly and hooked the jumper cables directly to the window motor to wind up. The video took the guess work out of getting the panel off and back on in a hurry. Thanks so much.

2007 to 2012 is the model years for that generation. As per Wikipedia, that is.

Gen 3 is 2007-2012 .. there was a minor facelift in 2010 but not a 'new gen '

Hi, what could be the cause of not functioning rear speakers in this model? Both speakers are gone and I want to inform myself of where the probelm could be before removing the door panels to investigate.

Chances are your speakers are blown or there's some sort of wiring issue with the speakers

Can the door panel be removed with the door closed? The door is locked, and cannot be be unlocked electronically or manually using the unlock button.

@@angeliquedubois2480 I got the door unlocked, in fact I just finished the whole project. I did two things: 1) Put a fresh battery in my remote (I think it had the original battery). 2) Unlock the door but with the engine running, thereby supplying more voltage to the actuator.
