Hey thanks for this video, my air was coming out smelling bad and I was told it was my cabin filter. I used this video to change it. Even bought the one you used here. Smell is gone. You saved my butt. I'd never find this out by myself.

Man getting to this filter is a real bitch! It's way too hidden, I hurt my left wrist from trying to play with it taking it out and then putting in a new one. And not to mention my knees are also a little bruised up from kneeling on the cement ground. But yea, it was very dirty and a lot of dry leaves came out. Thanks for video.

Hey, I was wondering what the panel you removed is called. I've been looking for it everywhere, trying all sorts of different search phrases.

sorry i know this is an older vid but i’m gonna change my air filter soon & i was wondering if you think it’d be ok to vacuum inside of where the air filter will be? i have a small nozzle that will fit & i really want to make sure it’s all cleaned out before putting in the new filter.

Note: This process costs you $89 at the dealership and most oil change places....

Does anyone attempt to vacuum out the filter compartment at all? Seems like there would be some debris in there needing to be removed for max airflow.

My Sentra didnt come with a filter

It is disgusting that Nissan has made it so difficult to replace the in-cabin filter by putting it in such a hard-to-reach position and hard-to-replace orientation. The in-cabin filter behind the glove box of some brands is so easy to reach and so easy to replace. I will not be a repeated customer of NIssan.

No offense but your car must smell like crap on the inside if that was your filter. Get activated carbon in the future it really works.
