In this Video I will try my Best to Explain my Problem "No Start" "No Crank" "Long Cranks No Start" on this 5.3 I hope this help someone not to spend a bunch of MOONEEY like I Did

Thank you for the post you saved me a lot of time. I changed my brake shoes and afterwards I had the same problem as you. I thought for sure I would be changing a fuel pump. After checking the fuel pressure I started scratching my head. Checked the fuel system fuses and they were all okay which really had me stumped. Checked the same 30 amp fuse that you had changed and it was blown. Changed it and the truck started right up. Thanks for taking the time to make and post the video it is greatly appreciated.

Bro you are the life saver god bless you and your family I have done same thing opened up every wire new every ground cleaned up everything so I’m gonna put back everything and try get a fuse if that’s works and starts the truck you’ll be in my prayers for life thank you

Man, Im going through something as head scratching. Im getting u0101, u0073, u0214, co55-5a… Truck has intermittent no crank. Come to a stop sign and will not engage transmission. Slow throttle response, sometimes No throttle response. Taking shots in the dark. Cleaned all grounds, cleaned all wiring harness, replaced BCM and reprogrammed, checked 16pin connections at trans.. went to two shops.. no luck yet. Really happy to hear u got your figured out!! Gives me hope for a solution on mine!

The ground behind the wire wall replace it usually if it's a ground issue it's always that one. It looks like it's a chain link cable

Controls Throttle that communicates with ECM if fuse is good . Maybe you have a bad ECM . See if your check engine light shows when you put the key on run * if it doesn't that means no communication to the ECM

First the gas paddle stop working ,I turned the engine off .tried to restart it nosignal from the switch it's just cranking from the crank relay codes u0100

@@dangomaure2857 Try Disconnecting the battery first and touch the NEGATIVE & POSITIVE together. To drain any power and then reconnect it. If you hear your throttle body kick open it should start.

And the gas pedel disconnected the connector and re connect it . I had to reset it with the Tech 2

good morning guys hey i have a problem with my chevrolet silverado 2007 6.0 secund generation is been running with problems like you guys experienced in your trucks mine is showing in the dash abs, brake service, stabilitrak check engine, lose power and i allready chage throttle body, gas pedal fuel pump check grounds, fuses. sometimes run for few hours normal and i turned off and don't want start again until desconect battery and plug it back on and run again. so if somebody can help me ill really apreciate that thanks god bless you guys

After 2007 from what I understood they need to be Reprogram with the vin. Used or new I Purchased my ECM already Program on Ebay

This is the exact thing happening to my 5.3 168k Miles. Shop replaced the throttle body, still doing the same rough start but it turns over after I pump the gas

After replacing throttle body you need to program the throttle body again "throttle relearn" maybe that your issue

If anyone having a crank no spark on these trucks check the small ground wire behind p/s pump this wire grounds all coils also multiple misfire and stalling problems

My does run unless all of air intake, and vacuum hose are hooked up, if 1 vacuum Line is disconnected is will not run, Notice when It did start ,the air intake is connected, it's wasn't in the beginning

Check if your Engine light turns on, in the dash when you put the check in . I have a other video that more specific

Disconnect the battery and see if the alternator clicks -if no --->bad ECM -If yes---> Mechanical or fuse issues perhaps fuel pump or starter

Bro i have a no crank no start it just clicks i have a new battery and new starter and recently rebuild my engine new oil pump cam and lifters vvt and dod delete it ran fine for like 1000 miles than one day i parked it and when i tried to start it its giving me this issue what do u think it might be?

Does the throttle body click/flaps/spins When you disconnect the battery negative ?

@@averagedrivewaymechanic300 Thanks I’ve checked every fuse twice, yes engine light is on. This shit is driving me crazy! I just checked my PCM and there is oil on the connectors! I have no idea how that even happens, but I’m going to try to clean them some how and see if that helps.

So we got a 09 chevy silverado 5.3 Ls 1500 right and we switched the engine and stuff when we built back he had no crank no start 🙆♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️ we was like wtf, so we doing research i went to clean all my grounds and added some new grounds, still no crank no start, switched alot of fuses and nothing. New battery and went switched the fuse by the battery and nothing. So my scanner couldn't communicate either and she was sitting there for 4 months with a new engine and new upgrades till I seen someone disconnect the battery and made the positive and negative cable touch each other. To kill everything and then went to disconnect the ECM then after 20 minutes connected everything back and the truck started after 4 months with new engine and new everything 🙆♂️ but I do need a new ECM

If you buy the ECM from the link you sent them your vin and it come preprogrammed

No if the Security light is on the key got disprogram Follow Gm Key relearn procedure

@@averagedrivewaymechanic300 the security light turned on after I took my battery to charge, I tried doing that key thing turn it on leave it on for 10mins or until the security light turns off hadn't had any luck turning it off
