This video is about a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country security feature that immobilizes the vehicle into theft mode. The vehicle will not start or may have patterns of start/stop shutdowns. I will be sharing in this video how I was able to fix this problem. Its the best fix for me. The problem has not come back and the vehicle drive excellently.

When was the last time you opened up the original key fob to replace the battery? Either there is dirt or corrosion in the transponder circuit in the key or the fine wire used for the coil is damaged.

I was called to another garage to fix a 2005 300c chrysler. The problems they noticed with the car was Hard or no start, red lightning bolt steadily on, no throttle response, immediate stalling after starting and rough idle throughout idling as a result an old PCM was replaced with a new one however problem still persisted. I scanned for DTC codes and saw a P0340, P2167, P2166, P2115, P2116, p0603 and more module codes like C2202, U0168, U1414, B1A25, etc. Please help me! How can I fix those problems? The major problem is that whenever the red round light probably, the security light, if it remains ON, the car won't start at all however even if it does start by chance, the car would definitely stall immediately. On the otherhand , if the red perhaps security light blinks and battery light goes off, it will have only hard starting but would definitely start. Firstly, how can I fix the security issue? The client said: "he doesn't want anything security in the car anymore." How should I proceed to disable that security completely? It's because of that that made the engineer encourage them to get a new ECU. Please🙏, help me with the repair procedure and also wiring diagram showing power distribution layout identification for the engine bay and rear fuses.

Okay I just wanted to say that I appreciate your video I did the exact same thing I called the locksmith had him come out to my 2005 Town and country and he cut the key and fit the key so it worked in my ignition the only thing is I have the fob that is 6 6 different mechanisms on the fob and even though he was able to get the key to fit in the ignition and it worked I have absolutely no fob that works even though it was a new one and I was just wondering I noticed you had a fob on yours and you didn't seem to have gotten a new fob once you got your new key so maybe you can tell me what to do if I need to program my fob even though I called the dealership and they told me the vehicle was too old to try and reprogram the fob which I thought was kind of weird.

Should have paid the locksmith to program your key fob also. If you bought the key fob off of eBay or even Amazon, it might not work. There is a crystal inside that sets the frequency and it needs to match the immobilizer. I am alittle confused. Did the locksmith cut and program your van to use your new key with the fob, so the key works but the fob doesn't?

Go to a locksmith that codes keys for vehicles and have that guy/gal to call the dealer and get the codes to diagnose the key fob. it may cost $80 or less for a new key. I hope that helps

@@antoinecscott the only thing the dealer could give you is the pin code which is like a password allowing you to modify the immobilizer. If you have the equipment and skill, you could get into the immobilizer and read the EEPROM for the pin code. Some cars in combo with a scan tool can extract the pin code.
