The new rangers are pretty nice (compared to today's standard). Not shure why you dont like it. I dont like that they made it a mid sized truck but besides that it is nice

@@vladthevlogger performance wise, I have nothing bad to say. Not a fan of the looks. And that it is a midsized. OG rangers are "compacts" even though it's not a huge size difference it is a bigger vehicle

This was my first KZfaq vid, so it's not very good, all one shot on my camera with no editing...

Other than the wheel spacers this was the stock set up for this level 2 trim package... the polished aluminum was the upgrade from painted aluminum

They are 2 inch spacers, billet aluminum, hub centric you probably don't need 2 inches maybe just 1 inch

@@Novagunner my offset calculations show that with my current rim/tire up vs factory that I'm gonna have to go 1.5" because 1 won't be quite close enough back to original backspace and offset, but after more studying I believe putting mustang rims on a ranger that I'm gonna hafta use the typical flanged HC 1.5 adapters in the rear but the no~flanged HC and run HC spacer rings to match up to the rim for some odd reason my CB is the nearly the same all around but what I gather my real ultimate roadblock is that the CB in the rear is 70.5 & 70.6 in the front... which I for the life of me cannot understand to any degree why this would be a design spec

I got a full set of 4, 2006~09 Stock Bullitt Alloys 18x8.5 5x4.5 for $200 and they're over $400 each individually as OEM Replacements even in a set they still list over $1200 new... I always wanted some and I thought 18 wouldn't seem as ridiculous as 20s with a 1.5 increase in stance and a 2 or 3 inch drop, it's a white 2door supercab 5speed with black hoodscoops (on it when I bought it) and dual straight pipes, so I painted the rims black w/the one inch white beauty ring with lo~pro 45Rs that are too short fir white walls hence the beauty ring, they're lug centric, Damn near hubcentric, rocking two 12s in a strobe lit show box featuring a mirrored bottom w/a plexiglass top/front viewing area pushing 1000watts... if she was stanced 1.5 on a 3"drop and had 500 more watts pulsing through her I would be satisfied to leave her be except for necessary maintenance and repairs...

@@Novagunner I'm guessing the front is different because the other 07's had the 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, & both manual & automatic locking 4x4 available, manual or auto, on either 15"x6" or 16"x7" stock rims, that particular year had so many friggin variations I hafta bring a checklist every time I go for a part... engine, trans, drive train, trim, how many doors, fx2 or fx4, calps or drums, springs or leafs, long or short base, oh! and every part fitment, is vehicle specific so it's always $20~$60 more, but I do get the lifetime warranty tho, So there's that 💁🏼‍♂️

i love it! just over 2 years with it and i couldnt be happier... if you can afford the SOHC 4.0... get it no matter the package.. unless you want the 4x4.4x4 plus 4.0l can be pricey 07+ but damning i love this damn truck its the BEES-KNEES!!!!

I got a 07 Base model with a 2.3L definitely wish it had some more power but over all I love it. Truck feels Solid and drives good for it's value. And I'm 6 foot 5 and I even fit in it. And I only have the 2 door with no back room

Roberto Higuera my ranger came with 235's on it and if yours did as well you will probably need some spacers, my stepbrother (previous owner) put 31's on it and it was rubbing so bad he replaced them the same day. go with 2 inch spacers and you should be fine

update on this, got 265/75/16 KO2 with 16x8 method rancing wheels with 0 offset and 2 inch wheels spacers. It rubbed a little so I had to cut the fenders, nothing major. Also added BTF uniball upper control arms with maxed out stock torsion keys and that moved the wheels forward a little and helped with rubbing when going off-road.

The skid plate under the motor was a factory item on the level 2.

I have new tires now! ill do a quick review video maybe today, the tires are 31x10.5, and there is no lift, stock ride hight for a level2 fx4

im sure they arent grade 8, i dont really use it as a push bar, its actually the lowest point on the vehicle, i use it as a gauge to make sure i dont go over a rock or something that could damage the undercarage...

It's not that strict, and honestly area wise, Washington is mostly red, the are like 3 counties that half like over half the populous though... and they always go blue that's why state wide gun laws are pretty lenient in washington

I bought it with 54k, and I'm at about 123k now... still running like a champ... although I think I'm starting to get some minor issues with my timing chain guides. Nothing critical.. I just hear it click on a cold start.

I added whell spacers and the linoleum floor is stick some kinda polymer

Nah, my truck is 100 percent level right now with stock keys, i didnt have to push them much further than stock adjustment either just a couple turns, i dont want to lift it any more than stock components will allow

this is my work truck and if i had to do such a repair id would take it into the pros, i dont have the luxury of down time with this vehicle like i do my mustang

You should get at least a leveling kit if not a full lift kit

ive got to make another update video! its been a long time and things have changed! i cranked the torsion bars and its perfectly leveled right now, it required special alignment shackles to get it to the proper alignment though! a tad stiffer. That, combined with the 2" wheel spacers there is quite a noticeable improvement in stability in cornering even at its height!

@@Novagunner the ohc 4.0 has three timing chains the early ones very problematic didn't have the longevity needed in a truck. The later ones while improved with better nylon chain guides are also not the long lasting motors you would want in a truck.

@@danny117hd ohhh I see, yea I heard about the guides being a problem, but from what I understand it easily avoidable if you know what to listen for and replace your timing chain tensioner when needed. I replaced mine at 100 just to be safe and I'm at 130k now, with no issues so far!

Novagunner got rebuildable aluminum fox shox for 2003 4.0 5sp 4x4 2door ext cab im working on now.

Novagunner if you pull trailer like me get a 2 core all aluminum radiator off ebay for $150. also you should do bigger or 2nd trans cooler. those 4r44e trans has had overheating and seperator plate gasket blowout issues. also add in line trans spin on filter and oil cooler. i add power steering coolers too on mine for heck of it. also get a cast aluminum rear diff cover so holds more gear oil to keep diff cool. you can get led head light bulbs on amazon pretty cheaply too and they are bright AF! uhm.....
