Same issue on my 2008 with 170K. Wipers just freeze up and stop working randomly...I can usually smash the wiper arms with a water bottle while I'm driving to get them unstuck again. Fun while driving 80 on the HW.

In the process of swapping out the motor only today. Thought this video may help. Not.

What is the name of the bracket that goes between the left and right transmissions and the motor? The bolt on the back of my motor worked itself loose and the square hole is now rounded out . I can find the motor and left/right transmissions everywhere, but I can't find any mention of the bracket anywhere.

You did not show the clip . the aftermarket clips do not work very well

It's a bad design, they don't allow for easy access. I have the same problem with mine.
