10 seconds actually isn’t that bad imo. Not really quick but not terribly slow either. It’ll be extremely reliable though.

These are very fun to drive and never disappoint me in terms of acceleration. I always drive my buddys 2011 LX but I am looking to get my own one of these days

@@corning1You don’t have to have a fast car to enjoy driving. Some slow cars are genuinely fun to drive even when not doing so in a spirited manner.

@@aguilar2039 I really had to think of this. I had a civic si, a wrx, and a corvette. By far the most fun was the vette, but I would put my si second although it was slower than my wrx. Than wrx was so soulless and slow. I think when it comes to fun the car has to have some real personality. It needs some noise, it needs something. I don’t see…. How a base civic is fun to drive at all. Maybe if it was stick you could make a mild argument. I just…. My 2009 Corolla is not fun to drive. Sometimes I’ll laugh and it and my own mind and floor and throw myself back into my seat as I snail raise to 70 getting on the highway, but that’s just trying to live with how unfun the thing truly is. To each their own.

Almost every source I find on the internet says its minimum 0-60 is like 9 seconds. Ive taken mine up there in the 7-8 second range. Plus the thing accelerates to 40 in like 5 seconds with the pedal halfway down. Not sure where everyone is getting their information, but its a decent amount faster than people appear to think. Probably because it has a pitifully long delay between pressing the gas and the car actually moving. And maybe that the refresh rate on the digital speedo is kinda slow

It all depends on what kind of driver you are if you wake up one morning and drive fast your car will follow what you do. If you wake up driving slow and wanna go fast expect the car to have a 1 second delay while that needle goes all the way back down and the car downshifts😉

People hate no the civics but acceleration is low-key kinda quick. Not the fastest but faster than alot of other cars. Just did an engine swap, cold air intake and a bunch of other shit. But stock still quick tho

This Honda is not the SI sports version. This is a 1.8litter the SI has the 2.0litter. This one has the single overhead cam. The SI has two overhead cams.the bore is 10.1 SI 11.1 Bore. This one is five speed automatic SI six speed manual. This uses regular unleaded SI has to use premium gasoline. The si has more torque. This one has 145 horsepower SI 197 horsepower and more more things, that make it faster, like a cold air intake intake, and stuff like that.

Hey man, I know the Civic may seem fast, but trust me man. Once you've felt the true G-Force, you can't ever consider anything slower than 5 seconds 0-60 as 'fast' ever again. (Rode passenger in a EV6 GT, 0-60 was 2.8 secs, scary moment for me quite honestly 😅)

This thing likes to rev up pretty high before it switches. I got one and itl sometimes hit 4 to 4.5k rpm before shifting

Im 7 montgs late, but you got the R18 back into car? Or do a K series? Just had my R18 replaced. 40-45kish on motor. In cali so i cant boost, but i plan on making it faster without pissing off the authorities to much. Plan is catless downpipe/tune. Already have coilovers/catback/Sri
