what's the hate with Hunters, I've seen several comments like this one before. what's the deal?

They're poorly made, have spade rudders, fin keels, and saildrives, And they cut so many corners most don't even have a key piece of standing rigging.

@@mattz1230 but this is a boat made 17 years ago, and as far as I can see it's still floating. is it really THAT bad?

Yes, it really is. And it may be worse- Hunters are well-known for osmosis issues on their hull. You read a lot of bad comments about Hunters, you said. Ever think that there is a trend here? Where there's smoke there's fire.
