I love Town Cars my dad still drives one to this day. All he bought were Lincoln’s.

Yep, these engines will run forever. The key is keeping up with maintenance, regular fluid changes.

I wouldn’t worry about ice and snow driving . We used to have a ball driving RWD vehicles in the 50’s , once you got the hang of it .

Instead of selling, you should make it your own personal car - you won't be sorry. In my current fleet (four cars in my household) I have a beautiful 2006 Light French Silk Presidential edition: factory sunroof, black carriage top, chrome 18 spoke Lincoln wheels. Mine is relatively low in miles at just under 110k, one of my nephews worked for a 24-hour executive transportation company and he said that several Town Cars accumulated more than 800k miles before they were aged out. According to one of Scotty Kilmer's videos, Lincoln Town cars hold the record for the highest average odometer readings on used cars listed for sale. The wimpy 4.6 is part of its secret to long life, not much power, very under stressed design. Because the main seller in the panther platform were municipal use Crown Vics (more than 90% of panther sales were municipal fleet, they were designed for durability and ease of maintenance. I change the engine oil every 3,000 miles, and service the transmission every 20,000 miles (I had an E450 transmission pan installed that has a factory drain plug to make transmission service very easy). In the last year I did replace a master cylinder that was dripping, and replaced an alternator that stopped charging - that is all that it has needed replacing other than regular maintenance in 16 years!

No, RWD.

Thanks, RWD as far as I know is very unstable on ice or snow..

@@florinmarc5510 Ya, these aren't really ideal in snow. I own one in Canada, but I have a 4x4 pickup for winter. This is however one of the nicest riding and handling cars out there, and I keep mine out of the salt and snow cause I want it to last a long time. Also very easy to work on and fix. If you ever find a reasonably priced one of these I'd buy it, you won't regret it.

Thanks Joe, I've noticed that no one is complaining about this vehicle and I'm thinking of buying one: signature limited 2007 / 273.000 km . from what I've seen these engines run up to 1 million km
