Unfortunately there's no information on the internet that shows where 2007 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor is located. This video will show you that it is located on the right-hand side of the vehicle next to the fog light.

I searched through dozens of forums and came up with nothing. I spent a few days trying to chase down the connections for the ambient temp sensor. After this video I got the issue fixed in less than 5 minutes. Thanks for posting this!

@@dezmitch7641If you’re sitting in the driver’s seat of the car, the wiring harnesses will be along the righthand side fender under the hood. I had to split open the two wiring looms near the coolant tank to find the thin green wire(Ambient temp sensor, positive)and the thin brown wire (ambient temp sensor, negative). (If i remember correctly) If your car does not have the AMG fog lights on the bumper, then the wires are a different color and on the left hand side fender near the PCV valve

My son did the same exact thing… only he didn’t like that wire hanging down and decided to yank it out. SMH. After pulling codes, an AutoZone employee YouTubing your video and Amazon showing me “frequently bought together” sensor and plug, I’ll have my boy back on the road in a day. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Thank you so much, you helped me alot to install my sensor on 2005 c200, it has no wire at all comes from the harness to its place near the fog light, so i made the new wire as you described on the video, thanks again 😀👍

Thank you for the video. After hitting a curb, I noticed a funny looking wire hanging down on my 2006 Mercedes. After searching for a clue, I was directed to your video. Now I know what it was and where it belongs.

Do you have any info on how to wire the fog lights? I fixed my temp sensor, but not sure how to do the left and right fog lights. The wires for those are missing from the car.

So my roof light switch panel is making a humming sound ,I found that the ambient temp sensor is responsible for the fan in the panel ,wondering if my wires sensor is bad

I'm dealing with the same issue, but I also now have a extream power drain on my 02 c240....I have a brand new batt and a new alt, but my battery gets drained if I dont drive my car every day. Would not having that sensor cause a huge battery draw?

I don’t think it would be the sensor, have you checked into catalytic converter for the benz? Had same issue until I fixed my 2007 and they run great and will turn on if I don’t drive for weeks/months.

the cooling fan is running on high speed, is there another temperature sensor beside air temperature sensor (ambient) or not, high speed fan is related to high temperature or false reading temperature, my car is c230 2007, need help please.

I have the same problem. I am changing the engine coolant temperature sensor which apparently regulates when and how fast the fan turns on.

Wow. I'm very sorry. This is kind of funny because I didn't realize this video was public. I made it for my a couple of friends out of state who were having a similar issue. I typically make these from my cell phone. I'll do better from here on out. Thanks for the suggestion.
