Great color. When you read reviews on the "only 203hp" you find any range of perception. Not enough to plenty. It's interesting to me an Impala with 205hp is great at a similar weight as the Ford 500/Mercury Montego 203hp but this platform "isn't nearly enough." What's the difference? The torque. People look at the amount of hp as the reason for how well it accelerates but the amount of torque and the gearing is where the rubber really hits the road. The Impala has 230. This has 207. But when you look at the Impala's 4 transmission speeds and this car's 6 speeds and when you compare the 3.05 final on the Impala to the Ford's 3.46 the Impala is only better on paper. I stopped letting tech writer's perception of a manufacturer's paper lead my feelings a long time ago. I have no interest in 0-60 speed or time. I'm more interested in 60-0 stopping distance and IIHS testing and overall durability and lower maintenance costs than flashy bling.

Yeah all cars are required to have the inside release for the trunk by law. Plus you missed the car having HID low beams.
