Kooks Headers, Catted Y-Pipe and Corsa Cat-back are installed and Dyno on this brand new Chevy Trailblazer SS. This car was untuned and still made a ton of power.

this is alot bigger job than they showed. there are all kinds of other pain in the ass things to do just taking the old exhaust off.

Marco Solo l you know why right? That's a 4 wheel drive SS. Never cared for 4 wheel drive very costly

@@ssjohnny6311 this is just a rwd TBSS, you can see when it's on the dyno. AWD header install is a pain with all of the drivetrain stuff up front

@@iamdigss it’s a 4x4 trailblazer. If you payed close attention you would have seen the Big hole in the oil pan for the cv axels. Rwd 5.3 engine don’t come with a hole In the oil pan unless it’s 4x4 of course.

@@sterlingwitherspoon5709 every V8 trailvoy uses the same pan. 2WD, AWD, 4WD, 5.3L, 6.0L, trailblazer, envoy, rainier, bravada, saab, etc. this is a rwd TBSS. you are correct, there are holes there. but there is no front diff or any cvs here

The 395HP is the rating for the 06 tbss that the LS2 engine by itself dynos at. When you dyno the vehicle it is the HP that actually makes it to the wheels.

You would have to call your dealership and ask, some will say no problem and others will say yes. But generally they will not void your warrantee.

If you want more hp from a 6.0 SS TB. You have to change the cam. The exhaust manifolds are not the reason this engine only make 400 hp. Dodge 6.1 make 425 hp because it has more lift than the Trailblazer. If you don't believe me, look it up.

Yes the SS comes stock 395hp, but he's saying on the Dyno it made 343hp at the rear wheels.

Because it creates just the right amount of pressure for a naturally aspirated engine, we recommend the 1 7/8" and 2" Headers for vehicles with over 500HP or forced induction.
