Demo of my 2008 Acura MDX audio system. This is probably the same audio system in the 2007-2009 Tech MDX as well.
I found it a lot better than my previous 2003 Acura MDX vehicle but this time I have the '08 Tech Package with 410 Watt audio system and 10 speakers.
I'll walk thru some of the features and settings. I cannot play the songs due to audio filtering copyright on youtube.

I think this Audio System is so much better than the previous Generation 1 of the MDX (2001-2006) models.

Hi, Do you know if the one that has dvd comes with 10 speakers and 410 watts audio system too? If yes what trim is that aside from tech package?

+DimplesDon9 I believe the Tech Package means that the default Audio system IS the DVD-based system with the 410 Watt audio rating.

+1970borntorun I pulled up my 2008 Acura Brochure to explain in detail....Base model has Acura Premium sound system with AM/FM tuner, 6-disc in-dash CD, MP3, WMA changer and 8 speakers including 8-in subwoofer. Tech package adds Nav with voice recognition, rearview camera, Acura ELS Surround Premium 10 speaker sound system with 6-disc in-dash CD. DVD-Audio, MP3, WMA and DTS changer, Dolby Pro Logic II and AM/FM tuner, bluetooth handsfreelink.

It says diagnostic mode when I did power off and 1 6 how do I fix it?

Looks like you are in diagnostic mode. Is there an exit to get out of that mode?

mine doesnt feel like sorrund sound , its dominate in thr front and sounds good but its like nothing comes from behind me{speakers do work in the back}

yes, I noticed that when I had the vehicle also. It's not very good IMO.

G o the settings for audio and put the fader at 3. That way you'll able to hear the back speakers as well as the front. You are sitting in the front so naturally you are going to hear the front speakers but when you fade then the speakers at the back goes higher than the front.

There's a Bluetooth menu I recall under Settings -> Phone settings -> Bluetooth.

It has Bluetooth but not much noise cancellation so you hear background noise.

Just setup the Bluetooth to the car and switch to Bluetooth mode then play music on the phone
