Use to build speaker enclosures the same way 25 years ago made some awsome footwell pods door pods rear boot builds ...messey stinky itchy thank god dont do mess around now 😂

Appreciate the inspiration, I'm building a custom side louvers with my 3d printer they jus don't make em for my vehicle and I wantd to fiberglass them for durability the process uve shown has give me that extra pep I need to feel comfortable continuing if all works out I'm make rear window louvers and that will be epic I'd be the only 2017 ford.... with em 🤣🤣🤣

I drive a lancer and I can't ever find lips for the bumper sides that come down. Looking to put lips under just them and leave the middle how it is. Thanks for the inspiration.

Work os great, but I think lip is to wide it missmatch line of the car. If you made side lips to match wideness Its OK! However U really did a awesome job!

Needs some side skirts and that diffuser (assuming you also made that) needs to extend out to the whole side of the car so it lowers that rear another inch or two so the whole car is leveled out 😎

7:30 is fiberglass resin 7:41is a hardener for fiberglass resin, when you buy the fiberglass resin is already comes with the hardener

Muchas Gracias, me tardé mas o menos como en 8 meses porque no lo hacía todos los dias, solo lo estaba haciendo en mis tiempos libres, pero si uno se enfoca muy bien y lo haces todos los dias, el trabajo talvez lo haces en 2 semanas

Wow this is so amazing I got so many great ideas from this. I've been trying to fabricate custom parts but using that mold release agent and gel to make your own is such a better idea. I just need to look more closely at what all materials you used and where do you get them?

The fiberglass, PVA release agent, mold release, and the Q-cell filler, i bought all this at Amazon and ebay and the rest of the stuff i bought them at the local store

Enjoyed the video. I've been watching videos on making lip's, spoilers etc. Problem is I don't know how to start and what exactly Is I would need. Would you mind helping me out with a list of things that would help getting started? And where I could probably get fiberglass cloth?

Yeah sure, you can buy fiberglass on amazon or ebay, so this is what you need, ( fiberglass chopped strand mat cloth, fiberglass resin, Bondo body filler, chip paint brush, sandpapers, gloves and 3m paint respirator ) now if you wanna make a front bumper lip side skirts or anything, just watch a lot of different videos to get an idea of how you can start your project, that's my advice

It's called gelcoat, use gelcoat only when you make a fiberglass mold of something, like car parts or anything
