I know some people hate on this bike, but most everyone that buys it is a beginner. In terms of looks, performance, and price, this is likely the best beginner bike out there to date. I hope to have one soon (just turned 18). Better to buy this first than lay down a 600cc two days after I ride it because I can't handle the power. You gotta work your way up with bikes. Ride it, get used to it, get bored with it, then sell it and buy a faster one. Nothin' wrong with that. Nice bike by the way.

It also depends on what you want to use it for. I bought mine for fuel economy and I drive it every where. I haven't outgrown it and I don't want a bigger bike. The 250 doesn't have enormous power, but its exactly what I want.

are these fast? at all i want to get a sport bike when i turn 16 i dont know if ill have enough saved upp but i either want this, a honda cbrr600, an r6, or a ninja 500 which one would be a good fast starter bike

Why do you use the kill switch to turn the bike off instead of the key? Doesn't that kill the engine after a while?

Just got mine... blue also... love it.. Im 6' tall 200lbs and it handles great, had it up to 130km/h no prob. I know some taller/heavier people were wondering it is enough bike for them. Great starter bike. at 120km/h bike is doing 6000-7000 rpm for me at 200lbs wieght.. which is fine for a bike.

@mrOthervideos On Yoshimura's website it specifically says "for track use only". So no, I don't think its street legal.

that looks sweet and sounds nice :) you should know though that carbon needs to be repacked more often the problem is it holds the heat in. i still wish they made a really awesome sounding slipon for my 650R

Agreed. My hyosungs read tire is almost twice as wide and my handlebars don't sit on top of the forks like kawi's do. Besides, the Hyosung sounds like it has more power with the stock exhaust.

In Austria it costs 4300 Euro. And 400 Euro more for the 2 Color Special Edition Painting. Great bike i am buying it possibly this year
