Chris Coste coming off the bench and going 4-4 with the game winning hit was almost superhuman. Still one of the single best performances I’ve ever seen.

Chase made an unreal number of clutch defensive plays in the playoffs, just another reason he will always be The Man.

Hell yeah. The fake to first throw home to get Bartlett in game 5 of the World Series was everything.

I really appreciate this vid: no added music, no commentary (except original broadcast), just a great highlight vid of the 08 Phillies. As a Dodger fan (remember they had Nomar, Kent, Maddux, young Kershaw, Kent, Kemp, Ethier...and of course, MANNY!) I couldn't help but admire the clutch Phillies and their team. Best bullpen, Hamels was a stopper, Howard was a beast, Rollins & Utley were stars,...but people overlook the year that Victorino and Werth had (both at the plate & in the field). And that Stairs bomb in game #4? Unreal. So glad they went on to win the whole thing!

I will never forget watching that final pitch from Lidge as a kid and just being so in awe of seeing the pitch, swing, the miss, and Lidge just falling to his knees. Such an awesome moment to witness in my lifetime.

I am not a Philadelphia Phillies fan but I always seem to be attached to them for their dignity, flashy way of playing ,they're flawless defense, they're precision strappy pitching and of course for they're incomparable strong hitting 👍

Man Utley was unreal. Should’ve been called up so much sooner. Would’ve been an easy hall of famer

Seriously. He wasn't an every day player until he was like 26 and then his knees killed his twilight. He was still arguably the best player in baseball from 2006-2010. At least the most impactful.

Still is a Hall of Famer, maybe not a first 3 ballot guy but he should be in

...and I love how Carlos Ruiz was mobbed by his teammates after his slow grounder scored the winning run in game#3! That guy was a STUD(!) catcher for the Phils, could have won the MVP in the W.S., ...and obviously one of their most popular players.

Watching this I'm reminded just how little joe buck cared about the phillies advancing. He gave more emotion when the Dodgers did something even though they were never in it.

Why does Joe Buck always sound disappointed whenever the Phillies do anything good? Hate that guy.
