Love the way it sounds under power but at idle its not so hot sounding.

That sounds sweet!!! My friend's Roush has those Pypes M80s. I think you would've liked them. The way to get them to sound the best is take the cats off, use an X-Pipe not H, and put the M80s in mid area. But since yours has a SC, it probably won't sound the same. I think an X-Pipe would sound great with those Roush Extremes! Before he got the Pypes. He had the Extremes with X and it sounded like those Roush Mustangs raced overseas. Sounded AWESOME!

@Norse1974 that crank up was a cold start so it idles different than warm idle...at idle its real deep with a "clug-clug" type of sound....almost like it has a somewhat aggressive cam installed ;-)

i have an O/R H pipe with stock mufflers on my 06 GT. should I get this catback and keep my H pipe, or should I get an X? i love the decel popping btw

How's the drone with this set up? Is it bad?

i have a 2010 Mustang GT and just recently purchase the Roush Catback Exhaust. It says its the off road one but apparently there all the same. If i were to put an H pipe on my car, would it sound the same as yours?

are the roush extremes what came stock on the 427R? i just bought a 2007 427R and dont know much about them.
