+Brandon Robinson Emissions usually are going to be rich in the morning For all the cars and engines. That is the reason why when you go to do a smog test in California they tell you that you engine has to be warm at its normal operational temperature because when the engine is cold emissions are usually higher that expected. If the emissions are high after the engine is completely warm you may have a problem with me catalytic converter or fuel system. My BMW F01 does the same and before I owned a 2006 BMW X5 4.8is is and it was doing the same thing

Also, keep an eye on your Valve Stem Seals! This is how mines started too... Estimated repair is around 5k!

In my opinion, I love BMW and I think is worth it. It is a good looking car that looks much newer. 2011 is a good year it has some modifications to the engine but if you want the updated engine you need to buy the 2013 models. 740 are good they have a better fuel economy and they have power too. If you're thinking to buy a 740, buy one with the premium, comfort, sport, etc, packages; because if you buy the stock one you won't have any extra no even soft closing doors. The 740 is reliable, it has the 335i, 535i engine. It has issues with the water pump, turbo charger, spark plugs, coils, etc,.. but I don't say this to scare you, I just say that you have to be prepared to repair in cases something happens. My advice, if you buy a BMW. Do not floor it Everytime the light goes green and give good maintenance to it, maintenance like replacing the oil every 5k miles, replacing spark plugs, replacing air filters, using a 91 + gasoline, etc,..

Razvan Dragos. I OWN a 740i. They are reliable when you get them with low miles on them. Once you get up to 80.000 miles and over you will have a lot of problems. All the problems won't be a big deal but they will have you constantly having to get things repaired. If you have a warranty then it won't be a big deal. If you don't have a warranty, you will be spending a couple thousand a year just to keep the car running right. My 740i has 90.000 miles on it. This year my power steering went out. Had that repaired. My water pump and thermostat went out. Had that repaired. My Amp to the radio stopped playing bass. Had that repaired. My cold air stopped working. Had that repaired. My battery went bad. Had that replaced. My tire sensors went bad. Had them replaced. I spent thousands this year keeping this car running. It's a good thing that I make a lot of money at my job. I love the look of the car inside and out but they have to many issues. A $80.000 car should be way more reliable then this. I'm thinking about trading the 740i in for a Audi A7. They are a lot more reliable and they haven't had any recalls for that model.

It is possible that you have a air leak. Try to pull the the suspension module codes to get a specific code to your fault.

2013 and up are better. You should BMW any BMW with the N63 ENGINE from 2013 and up. They have less problems and more power, they also looks nicer. All the problem that I mentioned on the video are possible to happen but this doesn't mean that all BMWs are going to have all those problems.
