dude i just realized that this video was posted quite recently. after owning my lancer gts 09 for about 8ish years (bought it brand new), i can give u some pointers as to what i would have done differently during its ownership. first of, brakes. buying no name brand for the brakes will make u save today, but end up having to keep spending on the same thing every 2 years. i suggest buying oem. 2nd, u should buy a sprint booster 2.0. search up on it. its the best mod ive ever bought for my gts. it basically alters the throttle mapping making acceleration noticeably better. HID's... i highly recommend getting your headlights retrofitted with a morimoto mini h1 7.0 or any other type of quality projectors (no ebay please) before using hids. it allows for a more effective light distribution and a more enjoyable night time driving experience. but if getting a retrofit is out of the question, but u still want hids... for functionality, stick to colour temperatures between 4300k-6000k. dont get 8000k. wayy too blue. u might get pulled over depending where u live. also, with hid kits... stick to 35w. do not get 55w. itll melt ur headlight housing. um... what else... dont use premium fuel. it wont do anything for an engine that doesnt require it. exhaust system.... i recommend megan exhaust (mine was just an axle back). deep tones. non rice. but yea nice car man. hope she treats u well for the many years to come like mine did.

Jester Gunner ur welcome man :). with my gts, all i had was a "sprint booster" (cuz i had a cvt), short ram, and a custom axle back. the gas was still kick ass compaired to what i have now. ull be really happy with 1 :).

Gts also comes with the touring addition adjustable hids, different guages, auto rain and light sensors and stability control really notice a difference in corners compared to without it 09 gts

jeremy mendez I got a 2010 lancer gts and I love mine, just check trim 2.0 litter comes with 149 hp with 145 torque and 2.4 litter with 168 hp and 167 torque. Fun car

Does it depend on what kind of lancer you buy kuz mine is 2008 lancer gts and doesn't have some things yours does like the door handle button and sensor . Or depends where you buy it?

Where i'm at most of those sorts of things are optional extras, as I buy used I get what the original owner decided they wanted to pay for, Mitsubishi still stock those items for fitting buy charge quite a bit more than they are worth to me.

Definitely different from most of the videos about cars on KZfaq. I clicked on this because I drove an 04 Ralliart about a year ago and thought it was kind of cool and then saw a 2.4 GTS for sale near me...so thought I would try to get some info. Guy, a few points, even though the comments lead me to believe folks don't care, first, clean up your car before doing one of these videos. I am not all that picky about keeping my car clean but your car looks like a frat house right after the kegger ended. Second, you got a few of the details wrong on your car....find out what those "lip things" are really called before pointing them out as a feature. And you said the wheels are steel, though I think you will find they are an alloy. Finally, rehearse your speech before you just turn on the camera and start talking. You sound like you are describing a car that you have ridden in a few times, and not like it's a car you have put 3,000 miles on. BTW, the fuel mileage numbers for this car aren't all that much better than for my Crown Victoria. Apparently it gets about 22 city and 28 highway (at least for the manual transmission version that I am looking at buying), though cars with a CVT usually do a little better. Would have liked to know if this car needs premium gas (I am guessing it doesn't?).

You can get a GTS with a 5speed manual and I believe the sunroof is part of an add on package.

These things last awhile with milage Mines only at 127,000 runs perfect be wary of motor mounts at that high of milage I need to replace mine!
