I'm a Penn State fan but we looked overmatched in this game.. We still lost in 2016 but at least it was much more exciting lol. I honestly believe that this USC team should have been playing for the national title.

As a Penn State fan I wasn't ashamed to lose this game. This USC team was the best team in the country I don't care what anyone says just look at the stats and the players they have in the NFL now.

im a usc fan. all three ou, lsu, and alabama are solid games between any combination of the 4 for a nc game. but dont fall asleep on florida state. that team is stacked and they have some athletes there. with their schedule, they may run the table. That will have them in the discussion. But how i would love and undefeated SEC team vs USC in the national title game.

PSU grad but a fan of USC. Best team of the 2000's (sanctions be damned). PSU was in this game but USC's relentless attack off of PSU turnovers killed them. Stephon Green's fumble in particular was a backbreaker, had PSU scored on that drive they would've went into halftime down 10 as opposed to 17 & it may have been interesting. USC took their foot off the gas a bit in the 2nd half but in the end they were the better team top to bottom. Please take the BCS this year, I can't stand the SEC

Both SC & Penn State are pretty conservative as far as their uniforms are concerned. SC has a bit more flash, but compared to the Oregons, LSUs, Marylands of the world, the Trojans are old-school. Both teams wear black shoes, ommit names from backs of jerseys & stick to tradition (which both have in abundance). Extended to the cheerleaders, SC is the more conservative, with their white-sweater clad gals in the same unis for over 40 years. PSU lost to perhaps the best team in America in '08- USC.

I think the B1G is the second toughest conference but they dont play well in bowls. USC killed the B1G this decade in the Rose Bowl. Matt Barkely is really really good but he hasnt played in a bowl game before. Im sure he will enjoy that this year

USC during Pete Carroll’s reign won all of those games and Pac-10 championships but only one outright national championship.

Always felt bad for Penn State. They were always looking like they were on their way to a national championship apperence then something always seemed to happen to derail their chances. Most of the time losing to ONE unranked conference team. And on the other side, this is sort of the last Hurrah for USC sinxe this would be their last major bowl game before Pete Carrol left and the NCAA penetiles rolled in and everything fell apart from their.

It's a good thing that PEDD state won't be disgracing the Rose Bowl for at least 4 years.

USC is too much for Oklahoma this year. The only teams that could slow down (not stop it) our offense is LSU or Bama. We have two all american receivers, two 1000+ yrd running backs and an awesome QB. The only way Oklahoma can beat USC this year is in Norman.
