This yacht has been sold.
"Reality" is a one owner Selene that was thoughtfully designed and equipped by her owners for serious passagemaking. She has cruised from Alaska to the Bahamas and from the Caribbean up and down the east coast. Her extensive list of equipment allows "Reality" to travel anywhere in the world with comfort, ease and style.

Mine is a 55 version, quite similar, but with so many details that make the difference. I bought her second hand and she was built for the Mediterranean. Extended aft platform or the dinghy plus hydraulic passerelle,. More freezing volume.... it’s awesome how this yard can customize their productions.

Looks over built to me I sure would not worry about that engine that should go a million miles

Fiberglass ?..

Yes. All Selenes are build with a fiberglass hull and superstructure. The interiors are primarily finished with teak.

2,400 gal of fuel, but only ONE ENGINE? Wouldn't take her far from shore that's for sure.

"Bonaventure" has a hydraulic Get-Home Drive that is powered by the Northern Lights 20kW Generator. That drive will get you up to 5 knots and it powers the main shaft and propeller which is fully protected by the keel. This particular boat has traveled from Seattle down through the Panama Canal and all the way up to the New England area and then all the way back to Seattle and the Cummins QSL9 performed perfectly. Other Selenes have crossed the Pacific. They are built for being offshore.
