Welcome back to the home of mostly shadow Pokemon.... as ninatic have been drip feeding us new shaodw pokemon I am breaching out!
On Saturday, I caught a 100iv Wingull. I had the XL candy to max it out, so I thought I would bring some XL spice to the open ultra league. However, to my suprise, Pvpoke rank this as the 23rd raked pick overall. Despite the Ultra League being my favourite league, I have never run into anyone else using one and only seen a handful of showcases. Ironically, it's ranked just a handful of places below Mandibuzz, which is a lot harder to obtain and is very common.
Pelipper being a water and flying type has a double weakness to electric so today's team is going to be an ABB double water strategy using shadow Poliwrath as the safe switch looking to bait out any electric types giving Pelipper the best chance to sweep the end game.
Sandsalsh with drill run coverage will be opperating as our type A also providing coverage to flyers and common threats like Cresselia and Giratina.
This team ended up being one of the strongest teams I have put together in a long time, enabling me to go unbeaten in back to back sets!
