He could still put the WH at the end of the kitchen counter, just past the combo W/D, and we can build a cupboard with door on the front for access to it, beadboard the sides and door, add a butcherblock cutting board to the top and use it for a coffee bar. It's the perfect place for it... not far from the sink, next to the sofa. ❤ You could even wall mount a pantry cupboard above the WH and combo W/D. 4' wide and on the wall, out of the way!

Quick answer is no.

No, the bay window is inserted into a wall cut out, so there is no house below it. But you could add a pull out with supports on the wall beneath that fold out to support the pull out, then add a folding mattress to sit on by day & sleep on at night. A full size folding mattress should fit. Or use 2 foam pads and upholster them separately, to use as seat cushion and back rest by day, and lay them both down to sleep on at night. Would need to add a step, that runs the full length of your bed in front, and could hinge the top (lid) for storage, a place to rest your feet when sitting in the window seat, and to step on to get into bed.

Yes I don’t know why the stairs have to make a turn coming out the front of the front door don’t know why the stairs can’t just be against the wall I can’t imagine things in my head I just can’t do that 😐

@@heavencantwait1218 In an earlier video they said they didn’t want to take up wall space by running the stairs along the wall. They thought using the stairs as a room divider would be better.

Tankless can go in the bathroom, above the toilet, IF you do NOT have solar. Propane tankless is one of their amenities.

Yes, you could add box drawers, or shelves there. Just be sure the WH is still accessible from one side. (Could pull out the combo W/D to access WH.) Lucas said if a person gets solar he can fit the batteries under the stairs on that side.

I believe he said the two dormers is only through this Friday. The special without dormers is through Dec 31st. I could be wrong.

I believe they said stairs would be extra and the loft is included in video earlier today.

Yes, I love that switch, too! The egress window in one dormer is an amenity, the stairs are an amenity, if you get the double dormer it includes an 8'x10' loft (instead of the standard 8'x3' loft).

It'll have to be a 3'x3' minimum clearance in front of the front door, and you can lift anything up 8" to 10" to clear the bottom step if you need a few more inches. Should be sufficient space there.

The Alabama and SC communities still have lots available.

One window in one of the loft dormers for egress is an amenity. Makes that 8'x10' loft usable for sleeping and not just for storage.

There should be a WH access panel on the LR side, since you don't want to wrestle the W/D or whatever out of the way to service it.

Rent a truck to move it or find a friend to do it. Save your money to buy a used truck later down the road.

You wont need to get a F250 to tow this. These are much lighter than the wooden ones.

The stairs are just a little higher than the counter at the turn, so no, it doesn't cut out visual connection. How much difference between a W/D in the LR and one opposite the kitchen sink? Fortunately, they do not have to run constantly.

Not enough room - he said they tried that in their meeting, and they need more room for stairs to reach the 80" high loft, and they didn't want people to lose their living room.

I believe one of the reasons Randy is not doing a 10' wide (for this "special offer") is simply because you will "Not" need special permits to drive the 8' wide yourself. I believe Randy & his team want to make it as afforadable as possible. Also, he (no doubt) wants the customer to have the ability to "easily" drive this 8' wide home without having to get a "professional". Nothing wrong with getting a professional, but if you're "short-on-money" and already have the proper truck to pull it, why not give it a try. A 10' wide home would also cost more & would need special permits. Just saying. Hope that helps!

If this info helps... We have a microwave/convection oven on our 9.7 cubic fridge with plenty of room above it. Our kitchen is below the loft.

Most of the 10 cu ft refrigerators are not that tall... the majority on the market are 60"-63" tall, which leaves 14"-17" for a microwave above with an inch of clearance above the nuker. In fact, the 11.5 cu ft at Best Buy is 68" tall, so still 10" of clearance to use (above or below) under the loft.

The 8'x10" loft comes with the double dormers.

Don’t assume anything. ANYTHING extra at ITH ALWAYS costs extra! And sometimes prices and extras change value from one one video to the next. You have to be very, very careful, and don’t assume anything!!🌻
