Yes 100% plus you get a little better throttle response and mpg by like 1 or 2

No hyper flash issues for me, that being said I absolutely love the look of the lights however they arnt the brightest in the world at night. Though it could be because I haven’t put led bulbs in them yet. Just make sure you adjust them correctly when installing

@@Russwc3 I installed the same intake on my fusion 2.5 but the bottom bracket provided doesn't quite line up right.

Mine isn't exactly"flex fuel" it will retune based on the type of gas you put in it, but unlike flex fuel it doesn't support e85. Regardless of fuel a intake shouldn't effect it

I'm not sure as I'm located in WV and we don't have emissions testing here. That being said I do believe it should pass.

I took mine to get a smog in California it passed with it on, I had to take it to two places first guy wouldn’t smog it with the intake on second guy did not care said as long as your check engine light isn’t on you’re 👍🏾 good.

After talking with the seller the PHT one is just temporarily out of stock and they set the price to that while waiting on new stock 👌🏼

Some people like boosting cars that weren't meant to be boosted. You gotta remember, all those videos you see about “best cars to modify” are just recommendations. Any car can be modified. It just depends on how much money and time you're willing to invest. Will this mod make your car faster? Maybe a little. But it's still fun

I think the better question is why do I go to a meet, and see a lineup of the same cars every time. The same group of focus ST, the same group of WRXs , the same miatas, etc. I don’t think it’s quite as fun to build a car that’s already had all its potential found and stuff. It’s a lot more fun to build somthing that when you roll up it’s somthing diffrent from what everyone else has, somthing that you have to get creative or go to the dark sides of the internet to find parts for. That’s so much more fun, but that’s just me lol

You do not have to remove hood insulation, the cold air intake by not having the cover gives a gain of about 6-7HP and is a great asset to have as it helps with tuning potential, its not for everyone but I haven’t had any issues. Also you can replace the cone or clean it super easily as it is somthing you can clean!

On that specific vechicle yes, I’ve seen the same video your speaking of. But it’s important to remember diffrent cars have diffrent intake boxes, some cars have intakes that are kinda build like a cold air from factory with tubes that pull cold air from the grille, or the fender well. However the fusion is not one of those cars. It uses a old fashioned clamp intake. There was definitely about a 5-10hp improvement and that’s across the board with all fusion owners I’ve spoken to, it also sounds cool if that’s what your into. And if you plan on having your car tuned as I am, the intake allows the tuner to take advantage of more airflow, to push more fuel, and there for Make more power. You shouldn’t watch one video , then go correcting people lol.

I’ve had it for 3 years and it was great for the price! I did finally upgrade to a injen intake recently, just because I couldn’t get replacement filters for this one. Well exceeded expectations!
