Maybe the referee counted the shadow of the shuttle which touched the base line..

For bes that’s not how it’s done. It’s where the head of the shuttle land. It clearly landed out.

this time no vr challenge, but cam sure shows out. if there is cam challenge can prove it, but don’t have that time. badminton should have vr challenge like football, umpire can see the cam 😁

第一局lcw臨尾個球擦網第二局lcw臨尾個球out 但最後lcw贏日本隊嚟講如果將tago同momota比 momota根本唔係tago個皮可惜momota條命好贏倒好多大比賽 tago 速度技術力量佢全部都有有埋第二時間擊球同假動作仲識變速控制節奏心理比平常運動員穩定唔會無端端失波呢場真係可惜

Both men deserved the win. But the umpire and the linesmen deserve a new eye, and an awesomely good sanction. Hopefully it was given to them all before. One of the greatest robbery in my opinion.

Not much the umpire can do, it was the hind lines, it's far from him and quite close to the line. You can argue about the line judge but definitely not the umpire. Also definitely not a robbery, it's the second game, it might be if its the third game.
