5:40 He bought a rebuilt starter, and had to replace it with another unit. That happened sometimes, Just make sure wherever you're buying gives you some type of a warranty or just buy new to save yourself headache.

I bought a new starter because of this video. My car still won’t start!

I have a 2011 AUDI A5 and it does the same thing. Took it to a well known European car shop in Memphis. He basically told me that,it could be a wire issue and I can spend thousands and still won’t find the issue. Hell the car only has 63,000 miles on it and I can’t do anything with it.

Check for a broken wire to the starter motor (thicker one) :)

I'm having the same issue on my 2018 Q3 w/push start with under 36k miles. I hooked up my scanner and getting a U0101 No Communication to TCM. Audi picked up the car and still waiting on the verdict. UPDATE: Audi discovered the ECM/ECU is dead so they order a new one from Germany.

I had this same problem at Christmas time and I replaced the alternator and it ran sound for until last week ! Back to square one again 😔fucking cars
