Have the dreaded squeaky blower fan assembly on your car? Hope this video helps you in replacing a squeaky blower assembly fan for a W212 2010 e350 Mercedes Benz.
This should be very similar with other Mercedes models. Just make sure you get the right part if you have a different model.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. "after a bit of finagling" to remove the fan - this is the most difficult part of the install! would have been nice to have some explanation.

Thanks, mine was just loose, and I pulled it out and put it back right, with the help of your vids. (The tab, of course, is the thing to watch for. It won't let you rotate the fan out until it is pulled back, and it needs to be pulled back as you rotate your new one back in.)

I have a 2014 e350 and the ac doesn’t come on with the turn in on but as soon as a tap on the blower is slowly comes on. I’m thinking it’s the blower. Do you agree?

If the blower isn’t turning on and then you tapping it it turns on, yes your blower is on its way out. Not sure that it has anything to do with your AC. I believe even just using the normal fan or even heater your blower won’t be consistent. I’d replace it. It’s relatively inexpensive.

Thank for the video. I have the same problem. I wonder if I can take the blower out and just add some WD40 to it ? I just did that and the sound went away, and I also tried to get rid of as much dust as possible from the blower. However, I still feel that I eventually need to replace it.

Doesn't work. Found a cheap source of the fan, but need to transfer resistor unit over.

thank you for your great video... these blower fans are built to fail by RobertBosch in Hungary with cheap sleeve bearing kept dry instead of a nicer ball bearing. I put 3 drops of engine oil on either sides of the shaft... now it spins better than new 😂 Now I wonder if the engine radiator fan is built with cheap sleeve bearings ????

excelent video. I've been sometimes successfull just to oil the bearings with light airtool oil. But usually it's best to just change the whole thing.

a new one wont last too long either because of the same lubrication problem. Lube and be done!

Have a question... my 2010 E350 motor blower works I took it out and tested it but it still doesn’t work when I plug it back in . I feel like a fuse/relay may be blown I need help locating where it is in my car and which one . Can someone please help me ..

Hi I have c250 cdi w204 facelift version and I disconnected all the connectors but my fan twists about 10 degrees and then it doesn’t anymore I try to pull it down whilst willing it but it ain’t budging

Perhaps your model may have a clip you need to push out of the way? Look around.
