remember when Toyota Corolla came out in mid 80's? Everyone (and other manufactures) laughed and made fun of it. Kia and Hyundai are the next big thing. They appreciate and care about customers just the way Toyota USE to.

I loved the Honda Civic but then I found this and I love it more I am getting thinking about getting this instead of a Honda. My family has 2 Kias already, and I didn't want one because they didn't seem aggressive looking enough to me but I guess Kia proved me wrong

@kiaofnewmarket I test driven this car..oh my god the controls, the power I loved it I ended buying a Lance Es which i love 2 because of the convinience (sedan/sportish design/performance)

Nice car but not sure about the engine durability and transmission longevity I notice manuf. now focus on looks and cheap out on the old school focus of hardware quality (engine, suspension, transmission & chassy) to make up the difference I believe its because retention of cars are now shorter and less consumer appreciation of actual quality contributing to longevity (due to cars being more a fashion statement) I would watch out for 2nd hands of these & long term ownerships in near future

i like the exterior style. i just dont like the dashboard, its looks cheap. the material they use looks cheap. but overall i like the car.

Does it come with rear view back up camera/Navigation screen ?

The Civic Coupe Ex-L (with leather) costs slightly less than this car does with an automatic and leather, and the Civic comes with Navigation and this one doesn't! -.- I'd definitely rather get a Civic Coupe Ex-L =)

actually the rear lights look like the ones from the mitsubishi lancer. it's nothing like or compared to the camaro!

I'm 6'1 about 240 pounds looking for a new car, would the kia forte koup not offer enough headroom?

I've heard some critics says that you should opt for the 5 speed auto because the manual feels sloppy and unsatisfying. anyone wanna weigh in?

People who think this is just another clone of Civics either have poor eye sight or don't know anything about how styles of vehicles evolve. Many say that this car looks like a Civic. But what's hilarious is that I think Honda's the one that copied the aggressive style of the Forte for their 2012 Civics because 2011 Civics and earlier ones don't even come close to the design of Fortes. People love to stereotype Korean automakers for being copy cats when non-Korean automakers are doing the same.
