I was thinking around 260, impressed with 275, congrats to the winner, the blackout non-HO Vortech blower will look sick on that 3v.

275 to the ground would be about 325-330 horse at the crank with a 15% loss assuming a manual transmission! i knew ford underrated them a little bit at 315hp

I have a 2010 track package 4.6 what is the typical dyno numbers for horsepower and torque on these later 4.6 i heard that they put down a noticeable amount of torque from the prior years.

Pretty much exactly what the dyno showed in this video on a a 2010 manual. Maybe you didnt watch it until the end but it shows the stock numbers. That is in the area. Track Pack means nothing as far as power there are no engine changes that improve HP.

Gutless? Wtf, That's actually really good. Assuming it's about a 15% power loss from the crank to the wheels (possibly even 20%) That gives it a crank hp of 316hp and 350 ftlbs of torque. This dyno results show its more powerful than factory claims. If you look at any car with their claimed hp and torque always subtract around 15% to 25% as that is usually always lost to the drivetrain and friction.

What @Toxic Hudsoup said. Come on, you have to be challenged to think a bone stock 2010 Mustang GT, that Ford claimed 315 to the crank from factory, is going to make much more then 275 WHP on a dyno at 105,000 miles. This car was obviously a high producer and was probably pushing more earlier in it's life. Give it a CAI, Long Tube Headers and a tune, 310 WHP easily. Which would translate to about 356 crank HP. That's not bad for a 3 Valve man.

The 2010 GT's are rated at 315 crank, the 05-09's are 300 at crank. Do the 2010's make a bit more on the dyno or is that just Ford advertising?

They rated it more because of the larger inlet on the air box. As far as dyno... hard to tell because stock cars have a bit of variance so hard to say that a 10 always makes more than a 05-09 because stock they all are all over the board. That is not enough power difference to accurately measure at the tires from one vehicle to the other as far as "more" goes... because a high producing 05-09 will make more than a lower producing 2010 and vise versa...

@@02autogt It makes more sense to start with a 3v if you are buying the car with the intention of boosting it, plus some people prefer the exhaust sound of the 4.6. They're just cars bro lol.

Ford rates flywheel HP. These video's are rear wheel HP. Typically 15% less than flywheel after the drivetrain loss.
