Probably one of the proudest moments in my life (besides becoming a father) was watching this team from start to finish and win the national title. Last time they had won, I was only 3 so I don't remember that win, but this one will always be in my memory. I remember crying at the end of the game because I finally saw my wildcats win the national championship. This was also the last championship my papaw got to watch before he passed away.

I grew up with Michael Gilchrist. He’s from Sommerdale NJ the next town over from me. He was scouted at a young age. I remember my friend telling me that he was going to go to the NBA and he was only 13 LOL

I think people forget about Darius Miller...If he wasnt there they wouldnt have won it all....He was very important to that team...

One of my all time favorite UK players. I think it’s so amazing that we won our 8th national championship with such crucial/clutch scoring by our 4 year Senior homegrown Kentucky Mr.Basketball Darius Miller. What an outstanding way to finish his career at UK. 👏👏 6th man of the year also. Could have easily been a starter.

I get chills watching this video. Almost makes me cry. I did cry the night they won the title. No team in the country deserved it more. No team worked as hard. No team sacrificed so much... It was truly a beautiful season.

The best team in Kentucky history imo, especially when you consider the talent that was in college basketball at the time. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this team. That was the funnest year of college basketball I've ever experienced. GO BIG BLUE

It's so great being a Kentucky Wildcats fan. I've experienced 3 titles in my 22 years living. I was still in elementary school in 96 and 98 so I don't remember those years vividly. This 2012 championship I will never forget. These guys had a great season, they deserved to win and I hope they all do well in the NBA.

You make the best Uk Wildcat vids. Love this one and last years 2014 road to the championship. My favorites of yours are the Ohio st, and North Carolina games during the Knight ,liggins, Harrelson era. Love those games. One of my favorites runs to the final four ever. Thanks for making these. Cant wait to see the championship vid in April for 2015. This current team is unstoppable.

I never will forget this team and the way they were. Most importantly I will never forget that night. I am so proud to be a Kentuckian and to live and breathe nothing but blue. We couldn't have a better coach!

Good lord, this gave me goosebumps. My senior year at UK and the Cats go and win #8. After two years of Billy Clyde, this was the way to go out.

This was the 1st championship that I can remember because i'm only 17. I always had dreams of how it would feel to see my Cats win a championship. Lets just say, emotions overcame me and I am grateful to be a fan of the greatest college in the nation. Now i'm cheering for our baseball and tennis teams :). C.A.T.S Cats Cats Cats

With this team you never doubted them. You just assumed that they would win it all because they were clearly the best team in college basketball at that time. I don't know if they can ever be topped

2012 UK > Back to Back 2006 and 2007 Champs, Florida > 2009 UNC. 2012 UK was 17-2 vs. NCAA Tournament teams, 9-0 vs. Elite 8 teams, 4-0 vs. Final 4 teams, and 2-0 vs. the National Title Runner Up. 2012 UK is still the only team in men's college basketball to win 38 games AND the National Title in the same season. Enough said. This UK team reeled of 24 straight wins during the season as well. Won 30 of their last 31 games. Beat everybody on their schedule at least once (2-1 vs. a good Vandy squad and only lost the third game against Vandy in the SEC Tournament Final because they had to beat a really good Florida team for a 3rd time in the same season and they would have had to do the same the very next day vs. Vandy..it's extremely difficult to beat a good team three times in one season. And they got their revenge on a really good Indiana team in the Sweet 16.). 2012 UK was dominant in multiple ways.

Man it's been such a slow start this season. Still time to come back like we did two years ago when we started pretty slow and eventually lost in the final 4. I just hope with Harrow back at PG we get going. Even the Heat and Lakers proved that you can't just put a bunch of guys together on a team and be great, they needed some games to get going.
