I have 2013 jkus with uconnect and after hours of research and reading up I confused myself. Now I watched your video, and in 20 minutes you installed every single unit out. Thanks for the help!! Very helpful video!! I purchased a 430n rhb locally and thought I purchased something useless.

Hi, j got 2014 Jeep Wrangler with uconnect, no Nav. How did you install your radio? Was it hard

Install was straightforward. I followed this video step by step, and honestly took no more than 30 minutes. And 15 of those 30 was spent looking for tools. If you have uconnect, it really is a complete plug and play. The Navigation I bought was on a Chrysler, so when I first turned it on the Chrysler logo came out. After I turned off car, then back on, the jeep logo was up! Just make sure you get the right nav. There's different models, like low speed canbus and high speed canbus. Our jeep uses high speed. Next, is the mounts. Make sure it comes with correct mounts. I purchased on eBay from a seller in New York, and came like new! Hope this helps and Jeep on!

+Iggy Focker I bought my from eBay too it's coming off a 2013 jeep (not sure what type of jeep) how would j know if it's hi speed or low speed?

You are good then, if it's off a jeep. All jeeps are high speed. No antenna needed, because we already have one installed from sirius sat radio. You're good. It's truly plug and play, since you have uconnect.

great tutorial. I have a question for you. I just purchased my brand new 2016 jeep wrangler sahara last eve. and It did not come with the alpine system and subwoofer. am I able to just add the sub, and some new speakers fairly easily?? it came with the 430n.

Hi I have a 2010 jK sport with no sat or ut on it its the most basic radio jeep makes, I want to buy a 2014 model off of craigslist. The 2014 one has sat and ut. Will it work in my jeep? Eventually I plan on buying the sat antenna and the ut antenna also. But my question is until I get those plug ups will the CD player, and radio work from day one or does it have to be flashed before it will work? Or do I have to install it and drive to the dealer to get it flashed? Any help would be great! I need it!!! Thanks Will.

Yes you can get a 2014 model to retrofit and work in a 2010. You need to make sure the radio is compatible first (can-bus, mount, firmware, software, lighting, anti-theft code). How about adding a backup camera to your 2012 rubicon with a 430n. Where do you get the wire harness for plug & play installation. And why does it have to be programmed ( flashed ) by the dealer. PS: My 430n has sat radio,blue tooth and garmin.

hey i have a RES 130S I think. it has single cd built in bluetooth, uconnect, and sirius xm radio. If i purchase the rbz 430 will that be plug in and play? would i need to purchasee anything else? will it cancel the steering wheel controls?

How hard is it to take the dash panel off? Are there tons of clips that are prone to break, which then makes the dash not longer sit properly and loose.

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio “bezel” dash surround trim typically held in with a few screws and/or retaining clips.

hi i have a 2012 jk that came with none touch screen radio but did have bluetooth and sirius radio ,i bought a uconnect on ebay witch was plug and play but later i found out it didn't have integrated bluetooth on the uconnect i purchased on eBay is there anyway it can still be fixed to were it shows jeep when i turn it on not Chrysler

If it currently has SiriusXM, then you already have the dual antenna. Most 2011+ FCA vehicles have dual antennas.
