Hello have a question about 3.2 cam adjusters, saw the video that you did and i was wondering if those cams can be turned even after the car has been started already. Please let me know i have done my timing the car starts and runs fine but i am getting a check engine light for the cam adjusters and i know i havent done what you did in your video. Thank you your help would be appreciated.

The newer BMWs are less reliable much more complicated and much more expensive to maintain. But if properly maintained they can go for a while.

yes they are reliable. Many people think BMW's are unreliable but it is just kind of a stereotype.

@@andrewnunnes the 528i has been nothing but reliable with both motors the n52 and n54 I’m working on getting that motor pushing some power just got done with the timing and bearings. I honestly thought the n52 would blow when I added the nitrous but it took it like a champ with no problems and is now in my buddy’s 328i with the same set up doing great still with about 160k miles on the motor

I got a 2011 528i with the in-line 6 (N52) in mine.

It is an inline 6, Im sure a quick google search could confirm that.
