Great job as usual. If there was no corrosion @ 17:10 then scope the purple wire and if there is activity when the ignition turned is on or off, then its a faulty bcm. That's only if the customer insisted on getting it fixed.

I blame flat rate. It makes for sloppy work and should be abolished. Pay mechanics a fair wage so they don't have to take shortcuts to earn a living. I don't know a single mechanic who started out not giving a shit, most get into it because they actually enjoy working on and repairing vehicles. They get beaten down by this system in place and stop caring. It's the reason I left dealerships and independent shops to do fleet maintenance for a courier company, I get paid better than ever and work half the hours. I am on call some evenings and weekend but rarely get called out and when I do I get paid extremely well for it. I'd rather be working on passenger vehicles than F350's and cargo vans, but the money is better and the stress is gone (mostly). I also do side work out of my garage when I choose. Not much lately. Glad to see the headlight didn't slide off and smash on the floor when you pulled the plug lol. That happened to me this spring changing the headlight on a Toyota Echo. I ended up having to foot the $400 bill for the replacement lens. For corroded electrical connectors I soak the whole thing in evaporust, 90% of the time its the rust jacking that spreads the connectors apart not allowing it to get a good connection. The evaporust fixes it almost every time. Good job.

That’s the problem, it’s hard to find a reputable shop/mechanic… We do not mind paying the money but we want it done correctly too much to ask? Hopefully she will spread the word about you because that’s what’s needed… Good mechanic? Spread the word.

For me, the problem is not that they don't work, because when I turn off the car with the remote, they come on for a second, but when I try to turn on the blinker from the car itself, it doesn't work, and the high lights don't work either, what can I do about it?
