I’ve been working on mine for 2hrs... it’s now 1:30am. I half a**ed put it back together because I could t get that bracket off. I should have watched this first. Thank you for posting this!

How do you even fit there? I'm thin but 6'2'' and can barely get myself onto the floor board? Serious question.

Replaced mine was working for 5 months. Now stuck on floor and dash. Think the new actuator is still ok. May not be getting enough power? Any suggestions?

@trentwoodruff4308. Power is not your problem...never is. Well, rarely is power to a part on a vehicle ever the problem, unless it is a flood vehicle. Your new part failed is all. Make sure you are talking the right actuator tho as there are 3 of them in the dash. Definately sounds like the "vent selection" actuator. The other 2 are the "blend door" actuator and the "fresh air door" or another name for it is " recirculation" actuator.

So quickly how many actuators does that 11 LTZ have because I have good error flow all over except it might not getting very warm and I'm assuming that it has to do with a damper

is this for no defrost no floor air, regular vents have air... none at defrost front or floor or is it the other side?

This one is for switching mode to different vents, floor, windshield, front. The passenger side actuator is for switching between heat and AC

The mechanic took the glove box apart he hadn’t done the work but he could see what the problem was I guess from just taking the glove box out but he said it’s a lot of work so he’s charge me $400 bucks 🙏
