Best to do it on a closed course. Kids can watch from afar.

I think my 2010 Odyssey is ever so slightly quicker, 1st gets me to 40-ish mph and 2nd gets me to 65

My 3.4l monte does the same if not lil better.

I'd hope a monte carlo would be faster than an impala.

@@adamg85 actually the impalas are usually faster than the monte carlos of 21st century despite having same engine. But monte carlo better aerodynamics at very high speed.

Wow that is so slow because of the transmission. With better gear ratios, it could be twice as fast.

Could be, but i was averaging 33 mpg with this ol girl.

@@adamg85Idk how I only average 22.0 mpg in my 2010 2.4l malibu. Average speed for my car is 32mph. But almost all highway miles. I feel it should be higher mpg

@alexanderjohnofficial never had that car so unsure why. Always make sure your air and fuel filter are clean, and delete any cat downstream from o2 sensors. Keep them tires inflated and suspension in good working order.
