"The tsunami hit around 3:55 PM. Just over an hour after the earthquake. I was in a place where I couldn't see the sea. In an instant, the pine forest around us disappeared, and in its place spread a muddy water. Immediately, I ran to the top of the mountain. As soon as I climbed to the top of the observatory i took out my digital camera. At this point, there was nothing I could do, and I felt I had to leave a record."

You know... Those waves in the beginning ARE NOT just 2-3 footers ! When you see white caps from this far away ever... They are HUGE folks .. especially when it should be LAND there and not water ☮️

You can hear that freezing cold wind, & see the snow on the ground. It's so flat there, too - nothing to break the wind, even. I can't imagine surviving the earthquake, & the tsunami, & then trying to just stay warm enough to not freeze to death. When I saw that giant wave coming, all I could think was GET HIGHER! But, I didn't see anywhere higher for them to go to, except the slightly higher playground equipment.

The very end shows massive waves and then of course the video cuts out

Why does the video stop right when the wave shows up? I know it is scary and I know the person panicked. I cannot blame them at all, honestly.
