It's amazing how talent like this goes so undetected in the united states

This win is that much more exciting that I've watched Jordan Burroughs come up as a Freshman in High school in New Jersey, seeing him win state titles and then move on to college winnings National Championships... Incredible Wrestler... Jordan Burroughs and Darrion Caldwell are my favorite wrestlers, its a jersey thing... Go USA!!!

So nice to rewatch this. It was such a big deal for the U.S have the legit #1 freestyle guy in the world. So exciting when Burroughs burst onto the scene and always conducts himself well

ever notice how every ref trys to make the US lose? burroughs goes up 3-2 and in stead of getting his 10 seconds to turn him the ref stands them up literally after 2 seconds. also the ref allows a challenge 30 seconds after the said move. its like an nfl team challenging a touchdown after the pat

I agree w/ Hamster. It's like when I'm watching a documentary on World War 2 and in the description it tells me the U.S. won. Totally ruined the suspense for me. By the way, they just released the Titanic in 3D. I can't wait to see it! Don't tell me how it ends though. I understand it was a spectacular vessel and nothing could sink it!

Hey thanks @USAWrestling2008 for all the uploads but you spelt Goudarzi's first name wrong. It's Sadegh not Sagedh.

chasev619 The rule isn't 10 seconds. It says that the offensive wrestler gets time for one good move on top. There isn't a set time period.

At 2:16 the announcer says that its 2-2, but by virtue of scoring last Burroughs is ahead. Isn't that wrong because Burroughs scored two single points and Goudarzi scored exposure points, but the back exposure wins in the tie? Just trying to make sure I still follow the rules right.

4:52 should of been 3 points for Iran. pause it just as he throws, it's right on the edge.

@moziemafi1 if your talking about the whizer throw that was out of bounds you can clearly see his foot outside of the circle thats why burroughs got 1.

@tahar948s why you mad? definitely the possibility saitiev would beat burroughs but definitely the possibility burroughs would beat saitiev. the american is young and has plenty of time to have an overall better body of work. won back to back national titles in NCAA division 1 and won the hodge trophy his senior year. before the US open in april, which he won, he hadnt wrestled freestyle since the 08 junior worlds.

@tahar948s meaning this kid had his first freestyle matches in the last 3 years only 5 months before these worlds.. we can go back and forth all you want but fact is this kid is claerly a beast and given more time will have as impressive, if not more impressive, resumé as saitiev. not hating on saitiev obviously hes one of the best ever. just saying
