Correction.. Al-Anfal 8:47 وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بَطَرًا وَرِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah . And Allah is encompassing of what they do.

Shaikh...Who exactly said the phrase”we are not gonna say as Bani isreal said to Musa(A.S)” ?? In this lecture you say its from the mouth of Miqdad(A.S) but earlier you had told it was said by Sa’ad bin Muaz (A.S)

Shakir Ahmad,miqdad and saad ibne maaz r.a both answered,but miqdad was from muhajereen side,and our beloved prophet Muhammad s.w.s wanted to listen from ansaar,saad ibne maaz r.a is from ansaar,so saad ibne maaz answered from the side of ansaar..

Our shaikh will narrate to you EVERYTHING exactly what transpired at any place and at any time during the life of the blessed Prophet (sws). Sounds to me he was right there like a journalist covering all the events and dialogues as they occurred. He believes EVERYTHING that he reads in the ancient books written hundreds of years AFTER the passing away of the Prophet (sws)!!! He will never say "Look I do not believe this could happen but ...it has been reported that.....". in the entire Seerah series, he is seen as acting as a high priest of narrating many dubious accounts and presenting them as if they were Qur’anic facts. Is that being “academic”? Hardly. Muhammad Asad, the well-known commentator of the Qur'an ascribes the verse 8:19 being applicable to the Companions (quoting some commentators like Razi). This verse - like the verses before it and after it - can ONLY be placed in the context of Muslims who "seem" to be hesitant to follow the Prophet (sws). This is evident from 8:20-23. This shaikh has told us that they were "arguing with the Prophet" and were highly resistant to fighting against the Quresh because of weakness and fear. What does that mean for 8:19? The Qur’an says in 8:19 “If YOU have been praying for victory, [O believers] - victory has now indeed come UNTO YOU….”. So, how can anyone ascribe this verse being applicable to the Quresh after reading “YOU” - once you translate the word “Fath” as “victory”??? For being otherwise, the word “fath” has to be translated into something else that fits into 8:19. But then, why only one verse addressing the disbelievers only in one ayah in the context when the verses before it and after it are certainly about believers? I wonder how he would try to ‘mess up’ with the Qur’an when he starts ‘interpreting’ the whole Sura 8! As I have been saying all along, the BEST way to understand the Qur'an is to read it REFLECT UPON it on YOUR OWN...this is because if you don't, you can easily lose faith by listening to these professional storytellers.

Surah Al-Anfal Chapter 8 Verse 19 Translations Pickthall translation: (O Qureysh!) If ye sought a judgment, now hath the judgment come unto you. And if ye cease (from persecuting the believers) it will be better for you, but if ye return (to the attack) We also shall return. And your host will avail you naught, however numerous it be, and (know) that Allah is with the believers (in His guidance). Dr. Mohsin translation: (O disbelievers) if you ask for a judgement, now has the judgement come unto you; and if you cease (to do wrong), it will be better for you, and if you return (to the attack), so shall We return, and your forces will be of no avail to you, however numerous they be, and verily, Allâh is with the believers. (19) Mufti Taqi Usman translation: 19. (O unbelievers,) if you were looking for a decision, the decision has come upon you. And if you give up, it is better for you. And if you repeat, We shall repeat. And your people shall not suffice you at all, even though they are many in number; and Allah is with the believers. Your translation? If YOU have been praying for victory, [O believers] - victory has now indeed come UNTO YOU….

Abdul Fauq you must be Shi’a or a confused muslim as you don’t believe in hadith or seerah of the prophet pbuh May Allah swt guide you to the right path and cure the sickness in your heart Ameen .
