6th annual "Vintage Kart Winter Nationals"
26 WKA & IKF Winter National Events were previously held there between 1966 and 1991
Track: Lamar County Raceway, Georgia
These are vintage sidewinder style chassis karts, 1979 and earlier. Engines are predominately 135cc rotary valve two-stroke engines, IAME B-Bomb K99 or K299, and BM-130.

Vintage racers still race each other clean, that's called Class !

Back in the day in all classes, it wasn't bump karts, it was clean driving, and respect. I ran at crescent raceway in Toledo a American reed junior in 1967, ran Fremont Ohio at Hassel back a open light, then 125 heavy.
