Wow the gasoline engine is very quiet. We have a similar Malibu 2013 but with a 2.0 turbodiesel engine. There is enough power and torque and fuel consumption is about 6.5l / 100km. Malibu is a good car. Greetings from Finland 👍

yes, mine fuel consumption is ok, 6.5L/100km (slow autobahn ride) to 10L/100 km ( city) fuel consumption :)

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK Not impossible consumption for a large gasoline car 👍 That my consumption would be city driving. On a Finnish motorway (average speed about 140-150kmh), consumption is about 5.5-6L / 100km.

The first car i learned to drive was Malibu 1980 in baghdad it was in 1997 and I drove this lovely cars many years the old us cars are amazing Caprice too but after few us cars I bought Germans cus I moved to Europe and the gas is so expensive but my heart always wants the muscle or classic us cars

Depende cara!!! Eu tinha 1 Cavalier que o ABS ligava quando eu freava Nunca derrapou, o ABS nunca falhou e se eu levei na agência e um mecânico e nunca descobriram porque a luz de alerta acendeu, mas mesmo assim NUNCA falhou comigo

Although it is naturally aspirated, it seems a bit slow for 167 HP. I think that automatic gearbox kills the last bits of speed.

Elevation and weather plays a part in it too, but yes that gearbox is horrendous to me imo. Here in southern texas mine moves a lot faster

This motor has more torque than HP. It’s good enough at getting the car up to city speeds 0-35/45 MPH. 160-170 HP and and Torque is about the max for NA 2-2.4 Liter I4 engines, but sometimes a V6 is a bit too much, so Turbo I4s rule the road now. 200+ HP and torque easily while still saving gas.

yes in USA has 2.5, this malibu was sold in europe and has 2.4L, you can compare the headlight US version has orange side markers, EU version has without side markes at headlight

Bro how was this even able to achieve 200kmh+ with that kind of acceleration?💀 my 2013 elantra accelerates way faster than that on kick downs from 100 to 180kmh and also 0-100kmh but then when it shifts to 5th at 180kmh, it would barely past 200kmh most of the time. I managed to reach 220kmh couple of times on a very slide downhill and only 210kmh on a flat surface. But now idk if its only because its winter season and because of the cold the engine can't produce more heat thus power so it barely goes 200kmh even on the same slide downhill and flat road surfaces i often use🤔 i will have to check that out during summer when its a lil warmer.

Estou olhando um para comprar muito bom custo-benefício mais pé meio atrás questão de peças sei que é um tanque de guerra mais desepenho nao achei essas coisas...eu gostei do carro super confortavel e ótimo para viajar tem bastante estabilidade queria achar um branco pérola mais é dificil

Corre bien, pero no tiene muy buena respuesta al acelerar, no tiene muy buen rendimiento, pero para ser 4 cil no está mal... (Ojo, no es envidia, yo soy propietario de un malibu 2008 2.4 L.) Y buscaba sus capacidades por KZfaq.
