2012 Honda Civic EX - POV Night Drive

Күн бұрынIn this video, I take my 2012 Honda Civic EX 4 Door for a night drive. The car is currently on a winter setup. Winter tires are Michelin X-ICE (205/65/R15). If you're on the fence about purchasing this as a used car, I would definitely vouch for it. It makes for the perfect first car or perfect college car for your kids due to its inexpensive maintenance and reliability. It also takes regular gas and is very fuel efficient (29/41/33mpg estimate EPA city/highway/combined fuel economy).

Price (USED - $CAD): $8,500 (as of Dec 2023)
Transmission: 5-Speed Automatic
Drivetrain: FWD

Is it a noisy car or is it somewhat quiet when at highway speeds? My aunt has a 2012 and she says hers is very uncomfortable to drive (i havent driven it so i don't know). Getting my license soon so lookin for first cars

Hi, sorry for the late reply, the car does get a bit noisy on the highway however I wouldn't say it's unbearable.

I totally agree this interior is my favourite. If you are looking at the 2012 - 2015 Civics, I would recommend 2013+ as they have heated seats and all. If you don't care much about that stuff then I would go for the 2012. :)

I think for the time it came out it was pretty cool! They definitely figured it out in the latest generation with how clean and nice it looks.

no, 2013 and above is cvt

No, the 2012 was offered in a 5-speed automatic. They started using CVT’s later in their line ups 2013+
