I've owned jeeps for 25 years and they never break down. One of the best vehicle's ever made. Your basic oil and filter changes, tires and brakes. This small suv keeps on going and going. The road noise is big tires. That's easy fix with all season highway tire if your not going off road. My jeep is very quiet. I have no complaints. It's obvious your not jeep owner.

This guy has no idea. I owned an 08 and loved it and i miss it so much I’m actually buying another one soon. I’ll never take any of it’s competitors that you named. I love the liberty it was such a great vehicle reliability and comfort wise is awesome. Only thing you have to worry about is the heater core that’s it!

I've had my 2008 jeep liberty for over 5 years now and it's by far the best most reliable car that I ever purchased! I like the durability of the plastic. I can go offloading with it in the morning and easily get it cleaned up to go on the town with it in the evening. My 08 still looks like it just came the assembly line. In my opinion the 2008 - 2012 Liberty will probably become a much sought after cult car eventually because they just don't make jeeps like jeeps anymore. I have bought other cars since and traded them back in but I will never trade this car in.

I have a 2012 limited Jeep Liberty and I love it!! Bring on all other competition. While they’re getting stuck I will be heading home. This is a great vehicle. Please do not let this review scare u away. The hard interior surfaces are made for ease of clean up. That wasn’t mentioned. I could go on forever of the benifits to this vehicle vrs the ones he listed. I am a die hard Ford person who loves this Jeep!!

Most of the reasons that Cameron here dislikes this vehicle are the exact same reasons that I bought mine! It's a wonderful vehicle for those of us that want a vehicle like this. It's not supposed to be luxurious, smooth, nor "soft." Also, while Cameron is correct on many things in this review, there isn't much road noise at all. It's the quietest vehicle I've ever owned.

I'm from South Africa and this car was sold under the name 'Cherokee' here. My mom owned one of these from 2011 to 2016. It is a brilliant car, I found it comfortable and practical. Yes, the fuel consumption was high and it was expensive to maintain but I do appreciate the nature of the car. Which is where I leave this off; these are brilliant cars for a set audience - not for everyone's taste - and that is the beauty of it, I've never seen more than 3 of these on the road in a single day in my hometown so that somehow made it feel exotic. I also want to add that this reviewer seems to me that he generally has a bad view on this car and you cannot expect someone like that to produce a fair review on a car. If you are looking into buying one of these, go see and test drive it. Who knows? Perhaps it is THE car for you. Have a nice day! ☺

I just picked up my Liberty and I was actually impressed! I've worked at a car dealership for over 5yrs! This review is misleading. First those type of aftermarket offroad tires are going to have road noise, second he talks about luxury and its a base model he's reviewing! I love my Liberty Limited and was actually impressed with its gas mileage driving it from florida to indiana last weekend. This bodystyle (unlike the others he compares it to) has aged VERY WELL too. Makes me want to do a better review on mine after seeing this one sided look at it.

i have 2009 liberty limited. has leather,tow package,sunroof,12 speakers plus sub and much more.i tow a boat and 15ft camper. hell of a great truck for camping or boating and to drive.only had to change oil and rotate tires.i give it a 5 out of 5

it's a Jeep not a luxury vehicle although the leather seats are nice. we love ours. it really does its job. sluggish at initial thrust but while cruising the acceleration, when needed, is there. torque could be improved but, again, this is a Jeep. a Jeep is not so much a 'soft' vehicle but for people that appreciate a workhorse and know how to drive such a fine vehicle. good video yet I disagree overall.

Sales probably dipped due in part to the debut's perfect timing with the financial crisis where the world monetary system nearly melted down. I think this thing looks more like a Jeep is supposed to look than most jeeps of the past 5 years.

Wow! Snotty sounding video. They way you described everything was completely negative. You obviously missed the point when testing this. It’s supposed to be all of those things it is. It’s a truck and it’s based on a True Jeep platform. It’s incredibly beautiful and I get tons of compliments as I drive mine for Uber.

Jeep Liberty cannot be compared with the CRV or any other SUV of the CRV's class because it is on a different class. Chrysler needs to bring it back.

I can tell you’re being really biased and negative when you were comparing the Liberty to all those different brands. It’s not a CRV. It’s not any of those other brands, because it’s a Jeep. I personally love the one I have now, though it has a couple of issues I need to fix. Don’t talk trash on a car if you don’t know what it’s all about.

I love Jeep Liberties I have a 2003 Sunroof Jeep Liberty the only downsize are the rusty door panels,due towards the Snow Belt Town that I live in. And the other downsize is the Gas Mileage,however I want a newer Sunroof Jeep Liberty. I do not care about having all of that luxury nonsense on the inside of any vehicle. I love 4WD Jeeps and you definitely need a 4WD during the Winter Months living in the Midwest.

I want to purchase a new car and I am debating between this and a jeep patriot. I heard the jeep patriot has reliably issues so that was why I looked into this model. But I would rather have the better fuel economy of the patriot over this model. If at all possible can I get a few recommendations of cars similar to this in the 20k and under price range? The only thing I care about is reliability storage space and fuel economy.

Does a review on a base model complains about plastic duh your not gonna get luxury anything for nothing. A renegade or jet trim come with leather. Its not going to ride perfectly smooth it has a solid rear axle and independent front like a truck for offroad purposes but to still have street comforts and with proper options u get 5000lbs towing u want smooth and luxury get a car u want a decent all rounder get this

What bluetooth? This is an off road vehicle with comfortable seats and a stout suspension. Exactly what a jeep should have. In fact, these same seats were offered in the Patriot all the way through 2017,,, I know this because we also have a Latitude Patriot... Love them both. Correct, economy is poor, yes the CHRYSLER V6 is not superior but, for a daily driver within 20 miles to work, it does very well.... I would not recommend long hauls in this one. Plastic fenders, bumpers, grille and aluminum hood are not going to rust, and the driveline is stout. Only four speeds is a drawback to the others... This is why economy sucks..... Mopar should go back to the reliable inline six and stop with the Minivan drivelines.... Dumb people in the thinking department!

If you don`t like it then go and buy your girly SUV. It fits better on you sensitive boy. This is a Jeep. If you want Luxury and comfort then take a Mercedes Limousine 🤦‍♂
