We have here a 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid that the shop says will not power on; when I check it out, it turns on, and then the battery light goes on. Hope you enjoy!

It’s so nice! I’ve replaced a lot of them in Kia/hyundai but never caught it in intermittent state. It was always a dead no start issue. But now I know what to expect. Thank you 😊

Crazy. At first I was thinking it was in the converter/ inverter assembly since the battery light was on before you found the codes.

Awesome video! I've already ordered the new fuse and while I'm at it change the 12v battery but check that 150 fuse on the positive contact. Thank you again!

I subbed and liked the video! Been dealing with 2013 hybrid that has cost me thousands and over a year of downtime and stress. Replaced this fuse, 12v, HSG and HPCU but the problem remains… I get “check charging system” And hybrid warning, everything is working except the 12v battery is not being charged. DTC u0298 shows for AAF, LDC and AC/HVAC. All 3 are showing lost communication with DC TO DC converter. Any input would be an absolute blessing for me, truly! Dealership ripped me off really bad so went to a hybrid repair shop, all they did was replace HPCU (which I had just replaced) and it made no difference! Same exact issue still :( I would love to see more videos related to this hybrid car

Those fuses are really weird. I believe you are supposed to tap the fuse before/ while you get the reading, otherwise it will appear blown. If you tap it and then get a reading it should show, but get nothing if it has been sitting
