Thanks! I have the full service history on it. The chain has been replaced one time at around 300000 km. When I bought it, I put new coil springs in the front and new air springs in the back, new heater blower and new main battery. Nothing has been done to the drive train other than schedule services. It is an amazing car and the quality is above average. The only issue I have are some rust spots on the doors and the rear wheel arches. That bothers me and it probably would need a repaint on these areas, but you know, it’s a high mileage car driven in maybe the harshest climate in the world…

Hi from Denmark! Well it depends. On my car there has been no major repairs, only what you’ll expect, like springs, brakes, steering components, cooling components, some minor interior defects….that’s impressive I think. What’s impressive too, is the fact that I never have to add oil to the engine between services (Every 25000km). Engine and transmission has never been opened/repaired. Now at 610000 km. What you need to do is to make sure all services are done according to schedule and don’t use the car for short, cold trips. At some point you’ll have to decide if it’s worth putting money in to an older car, if multiple issue comes up. Mercedes is an expensive car to repair on, but service prices are fair. Enjoy your car, it’s not even broken in at 98k km!

⁠@@carscloseupthank you for the answer sir. Did you just say that you change your oil every 25000km instead of 15000km? And what do you clarify as services to a car like this, is it just oil change? Mine is a sedan, are the sedans worse than the wagons?

@@laokaziz3050 25000 km is what Mercedes recommend. This is written in the owners manual. All services on my car has been done according to Mercedes. Service A, Service B, etc. The car will tell you when and which service is needed.
