Kid bought a 2012 1000 xt. Only 120 hours and 800 miles. It’s like brand new guy never used it much. Has exhaust, lift, clutch, 14 inch msa wheels with 30 inch epk moto monsters. Loving it s far

They are excellent, had them on my Outty and will put them on my new build. The only problem is the control box is kinda flimsy, we just used a couple zip ties to secure it down so there were no problems with it breaking

QSC for sure, thats what I ran on my 1000 Outty and what I will run on my new build, great clutch

This one was running an Airdam Prepped CV-Tech aftermarket Primary clutch, freaking amazing low end belt grip. The belt case are sealed tight, no water gets in, just need to snorkel it to drive the really deep water

@04popo700 It has the most belt pinch and is the smoothest working clutch, so much better then a clutch kit, it replaces the whole primary with an aftermarket unit. You will never have to worry about blowing belts running oversize tires again, it's the easiest and best bolt on mod you can do if you are going to be aggressively riding your commander. Yes they are available for the Commanders, I run one in my 2012 Commander

@reedriley8 The new Gen 2 1000's are an incredible machine, the power and the stability are much improved over the gen 1's, which are incredible machines. The way the gen 2 frames are the diffs sit down in the frame which gives a much better angle on the axles both front and rear, should never have any axle issues

@xeran117 They are 29.5" Outlaws, 10" wide on the front and 12" wide on the rear, on 12"x7" wide ITP 212's

They will float with-out a rider on them, but usually there are always a couple tires on the ground

I haven't had any experience with any clutch kit on my 1000's but I have ran both the QSC an CV tech primary clutches and they perform simpy awesome, belt pinch and low end pull like no clutchkit can provide, saying that I ran a qsc mudpro clutch kit on my 800 and it did very well also, just had to watch that you didn't smoke it in the thick mud. I can try and post a picture or do a video of where to trim the front fenders and footwells

@rezxmr IMO, the CV-tech performs better in every area, and you don't need a spacer for your cvt cover. again just my opinion

@1728jeff7928 always LOW....have to run low when you have over size mud tires in water or mud and also hills, pretty much evrywhere besides dry trail. Saves the belt

the cvt needs an intake and exhaust, air gets sucked in cools the clutches and then gets blown out of the cvt exhaust snorkel then the third is engine intake

@LuisGodoy713 They are a good all around tire with a smooth ride but they do not hold a candle to the Outlaws in mud, all depends on what you ride in?

@xeran117 My '12 Outty will have 14" rims and the new Outlaw 2's, can't wait to get them in the deep stuff. There are a few riding buds that are going all wides this year, I'm super interested to see how they work out

@1728jeff7928 It's not as imperative when running stock tires rather then large aggressive over size tires, but yes I would still run low

@HaloHamstur There is about 6" to 2 feet of water with about two feet of muck under it....you can't even walk in it.....lol...looks like just water but it's actually really bad mud under it...lol

hey ousta i run 28's on my 1000xt really want to get your opinion on the best clutch available and a few pics of how u trimed the front fenders would b nice lol i scrub pretty bad even with the 1" spring spacers

ive been quadding or years but ive got to ask do you guys check the water depth before going on? cause id never just dive into a trail i dont know without knowing if the quad will sink

Why not go with the 14" wheels? Better floatation with the 12s? And would you reccomend 12 wides all around on a 1000? Thanks!!

oh i have a polaris with stock tires and usually go in high in water...will it be better for the belt to go in low for water

hey osta, i have a 1000 xmr and a m know looking back into gloves. i called pines power sports marine and told them that you put there name out there and they really appreciated it. i also said how i watch yours and there and am intersted in clutches. on the xmr i want to do more wheelies so the guy suggested a airdam or a QFC. what do you think? thanks
