This 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 was built by Stetler Performance for the track! I know, that's not something you normally hear. A track focused Charger? Well, believe it or not, with a little bit of suspension work, this Charger actually handles really well. Stetler Performance has built some incredible cars and trucks and continues to raise the bar This 6.4 Charger has a few mods under the hood as well. A full exhaust, comp 270 cam and a custom tune push the power level to 500hp at the rear tires! This could be the best, do everything street car.
If you are in the York, PA area definitely go check them out! Their work, customer service and attention to detail is top notch!

This is my favorite Charger design, I wish they would have kept that front end and just modernize it a little bit. But honestly it’s timeless it still looks amazing.

There's really something to be said about the road tripping in this car. I made several trips from dallas to phoenix and back in my '14 Superbee and it is hands down the most comfortable car I've ever driven in. It handles like a dream and gets wonderful gas mileage (for a big assed 6.4L) on long trips. I noticed she really likes to sit at the 75-85mph range when on cruise control. I miss my bee. I'd give all my cars back to just have her again.

Question....Im up for brakes and rotors on the Charger. We're you able to put the Hellcat brakes on directly without any modifications? I am concern the calipers or brackets would need changing to accommodate the Hellcat setup

@@blackmamba_srt8252 you do not need to change anything for the big brakes. Just make sure you have 20x9.5 wheels in the front for proper caliper clearance. I also had stainless steel brake lines installed (track purposes)

Real Steel Cars 5 speed is definitely sluggish at shifts and 8 speed is definitely more responsive especially at higher gears hitting it how it drops gears to let you experience more of the power, the 5 speed takes a bit to drop gears and give you the power you need not a complete deal breaker but definitely sucks especially in roll racing.

I agree with y'all on getting more looks than the newer models. The thing is that the newer models generally all look the same. You can get an SXT and spec it out to look like a Hellcat. Im glad that SRT made sure that their models look way different from the Sxt and R/T during those generations. In which im glad because I don't want to spend $55k on a car that's similar to the base model which is almost half the price

@bspsrt9613
@bspsrt9613 3 жыл бұрын
It's all in what you want out of your build. A lot more is involved in a supercharger build than just slapping one on. Factor in a budget, what you're gonna use the car for, and determine if bolt on's are going to suit your style better or full on modifications, because once you commit there's really no going back. Hope this helps !

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger superbee srt8. It’s amazing and I love it. It has about 142,000 miles on it and still is in great condition. I haven’t had any problems with the engine so far. I also plan on taking it to college with me. I do have a few questions though and hope someone can help me out. I’m looking to get a new exhaust to really give this car the sound it needs. The stock exhaust does not give off the powerful sound this car deserves. Also, I’m still very new to learning about cars and what not so are there any engine mods y’all recommend? My car is doing about 425 hp stock.

But she has also been on the dino and is putting 640 rear wheel horse power out. We hav done a few things to her such as a Whipple and a few other mods. Just picked up some 17 inch Weld rims and a set of 305 and 325 MT so we hopefully will gain some better 60 ft times and end track times, She is fully loaded nothing stripped of and still gets mid 10sec in the quarter mile. shooting for 9!

@rh1011
@rh1011 3 жыл бұрын
@@5.7virus75 Sounds like a head gasket that's leaking. What happens is after you have ran the engine for awhile and then shut it off a little bit of coolant seeps past the head gasket into one or more cylinder. Then when you start it back up that coolant is vaporized with the combustion process and heat of the cats and comes out as white smoke from the exhaust. If you smell the white smoke it might smell like anti freeze. If the seepage of the head gasket is small you may not even notice a drop in the coolant level. Its also best to not drive it like that, you can ruin the catalytic converters and cost yourself even more money.
