Strange how people whine about what the Camry is not, and was never meant to be. Makes no sense to complain that an apple isn't an orange. Drove GM cars all my life. When my Bonneville's motor blew up AGAIN, I got a Camry. Solid, smooth, quiet, good handling, good MPG, strong, serious. Quality. When I first drove one, I could "feel" the difference in it and others I'd owned. "So THIS is what a quality car drives like". No wonder it's the top seller in the US, going on 10 years.

I drove a 2002 Camry until this past October. It had 178k miles and no problems until the cat converter went out this past year. Rather than replace, I decided to finally get a new car. I looked seriously at the Camry hybrid before opting to "upgrade" to an Acura TL. After a month owning that, I wish I had bought the Camry. Yes, the TL is faster and more luxurious but to me, not worth the loss in fuel economy and the additional price.

I got the 2011 Camry with 342k miles still going strong 💪

I have 13 rav4 le AWD I just traded into 13 Camry XLE and I'm surprised how smooth it drives I highly recommend this car it's so comfy. i don't regret rav4 trading it to an XLE Camry 😊

Cause Camry buyers aren't assholes who expect a Sti for 20k. Camrys are solid,reliable and quiet. I hate most reviewers cause they trash vehicles cause they don't meet overly high expectations. Micah is one of them for sure

I bought a 2010 Toyota Camry LE in November of 2014. Love it. My sister this exact 2012 Toyota Camry XLE. I think the interior design is way better then the exterior. But its a nice looking car.

All the haters can still hate. But edmunds just realeased their fastest selling cars of april and the camry hybrid was on the list. And on top of that the demand for the camry hybrid is so strong Toyota has added an extra shift at its plant, and they have had record 1st quater of 2012 sales.

The "Philippine version"of the Camry is not really a Philippine-specific car, It's really an Asian version, as it's sold in Russia, China, Thailand, Vietnam etc. as well. While the look is an objective subject, the level of luxury is the same as long as you don't consider the dealer-installed gimmicks.

I test drove a 2015 Camry today and the shifter felt weird to me just going through park to reverse to neutral to drive. I feels cheap to me and like it would have problems later down the road. Do all Camry's have a shifter that doesn't feel solid?

This is our 4th Camry (2012 SE) and our last one. No simple compass if at all, and our cruise speeds up when going down hills. The dealer says that's how they work now. Like I said, our last one.

that would be because there are so many, one asteroid wouldn't destroy them all.

May run forever, but i wouldn't want to be forever bored . Its styling is so very insipid and tasteless that it would make life miserable for me. A mazda 6 is a more attractive and better driving car, even if it might give a bit more trouble down the road. For me , the 6 is worth it.

I have the 2012 SE with the 2.5 when it's hot and the air is on it runs considerably more sluggish it robs the engine of significant enough power that you notice can't help but notice 20 horses maybe which is a lot when you have barely 180

It's a dam good vehicle, and I pulled wrenches for TOYOTA for 10 years and worked at Honda Chrysler Ford Chevy and Mercedes. The Camry is a great vehicle, but I just ran across a Honda 2007 CRV WITH 47000 MILES THE CAMRY NEEDS ABOUT 3500.00MIN BODY WORK PLUS THE CRV HAS A VTECH ENGINE THE RECALL ON THE AC COMPRESSOR IS STILL OPEN SO IF LOOKS LIKE SHE WILL BE DRIVING IT PLUS IT SITS HIGHER AND THE mayor in New Orleans does not care about street repairs at all we have sewer covers as high as 21 inches over the rest of the street so hitting these is either a totaled vehicle or anywhere from 3k or 13k or more if your that person driving a vehicle that has a sticker 100k to 300k its a total lost just a parts car that is why MY Camry has over 3k worth of damage and as soon as we picked it up the last go around within two months another damaged vehicle a 18 inch pot hole that deep and extended 2vfeet and 9 inches to me it was a cliff and there are so many law suits against New Orleans for damaged vehicles we lead the country last time we did a check almost 350,000 thousand only two were paid in full plus medical sore back n neck later came in the two were related to the Mayor of New Orleans and over 20 thousand of the cases were almost all hospitalized.
