Great video. my A4 B8 fan is doing the same. i thought id have to replace the fan and strip the front end but this is going to make the job easier and hopefully just a fan fix like you're. thanks

Beautiful job. This explained how to undo the fan shroud from the groove on the radiator which was very difficult to figure out on my own. I will be tackling this on the weekend as I bought a replacement fan assembly and shroud from Amazon which just arrived. You are very neatly organized. Wearing a head mounted camera was a great idea but it does capture a lot of head movement which was dizzying to view but it steadied enough at the key points so I could follow. Thanks for making the video.

Did you take out your condenser and your radiator just to take out your fans? I'm really not sure what you did. Did you add spacers or what to take up the slack/wobble?

Where i can buy this locking tab?

I am all the way to the point of trying to remove the fan assembly and can not get it to unlock. Been at it for hours and the radiator just will not let it go. I can’t see what you’re doing to press with the screwdriver so it releases it 🤦🏻
