haha hoan totally smashed DS in the first 2 rounds, it wasnt even a competition... really really strange to see what the judges did there. But I saw that often in fights with DS, seems he has a good way with most judges ;) ;)

What I can see is that DS has more level in his movements, and he's more dynamic too, I think the beat-killin isn't the only important thing in a battle

these 2 dudes seem to bring the best out of each other. quite the battle. they should just make it 3 rounds and decide winner rather than 2... then tiebreak. seems to always happen unless someone is totally terrible

I wonder if judges sometimes get jealous of what Hoan puts down, so they vote against him. That way they get to passive aggressively keep their infallible judge status by not letting one person win everything, even though Hoan is clearly the best popper there, judges included.

i think DS style is just not most peoples cup of tea. they wanna see beat killers like hoan, dokyun and hozin or just clean tight moves, but DS reminds me of wiggles and some other OGs, im sure hes great but imo the style is just not as interesting to watch. This is just opinion ofc i know some people love his style, i am just saying why i think most people would say hoan won.

I came back after 2 years, now I think i can clearly tell how DS won, his move set was more variety. He didn't hit as much as hoan did, but he sure hits HARDER. Also I don't think Kei got paid by anyone :v

I'm with hoan on this one 100%. DS on second round was just way too awkward, there really shouldn't have been a 3rd round. It looked like he choked midway, it was just so awkward

jjphysstud i agree some female poppers wouldnt be where they are if they were male, i hear ya, but i dont think deydey is one of them. shes good and nelson too. this battle was just...... wow hoan. I thought he was cleaner, more musicality, was really going for it. i had it as 3-0 to hoan so id be interested in what the judges decided on here

If you are battling someone whose reputation is strong then the judges will overlook a lot of good things you do as rubbish :3 It is also what the crowd wants to see ^_^ Remember when Hoan lost against someone who is not so popular from Japan who danced better than Hoan, a lot of people complained? :D

no no, hoan should have won, no doubt about it. DS always put too much power in the dance, he doesn't flow with the beat at all. He focus too much on hitting hard and strong. Hoan has better technique, much more calm, better in musicality, and 03:51 to 03:57 wow game over DS !!!!
