She is definitely singing in Hmong (H'Mong). In another video, of this exact performance, I even translated every Hmong word/lyric, of the first song at 0:10, she sang into English for all you non-fluent Hmong ... :) . I suspect it is the heavy Chinese "accent" that is throwing most of you off. But she is definitely singing in Hmong.

Yes, the Chinese accent does throw one off a bit if you are not fluent in Hmong. However, myself among other fluent Hmong speakers -- who have commented, can understand her nearly perfectly. Not every single word, as she/they did put some Chinese words in their songs here and there, but over 95%, because the songs are all in Hmong for the most part. If you are fluent in Hmong, you can easily distinguish what is Hmong and what is Chinese -- or not Hmong.

I agree with you Kuvdo Her, but you need to look at the 3 facts which make us different. 1. They start their art years before Hmong migrated to Southeast Asia 2. the Chinese which is the majority of China has a big influence on Hmong. 3. Hmong China see the value of their culture, No one can force them what they have to do on the art matter. when every body love it, it just happen. Remember, the major culture where you live really play a big role on changing your life style
